I have just come off the phone to @RupertLowe10 When I messaged him he thought I was referring to Scott Benton not Steve Laws as Scott had been in the news, so he confirmed that he had an administrative function He has now confirmed to me by phone that it was an error and in fact Steve Laws has no administrative function whatsoever. Good! He also said that he found Steve Laws’ comments about Jews on @AndrewGold_ok show grossly offensive. I agree naturally. We share a common view on the Islamist threat facing the UK and Europe.

THIS IS HORIFFIC Two French teenagers arrested for the murder of an 11-year-old boy found dead with a wet towel tied tightly around his neck on the banks of the River Vilaine in Rennes. The boy was discovered in a wooded area below a bridge near apartment buildings after a fisherman heard cries and alerted emergency services. Firefighters rushed to the scene and tried to resuscitate him, but he was already in cardiac and respiratory arrest and could not be saved. A 16-year-old boy was arrested at his home, while a 15-year-old girl handed herself in to police. Rennes prosecutors confirmed both suspects were seen with the victim on the afternoon of the incident and have now been formally charged with the murder of a minor.
