@dhabecker Math is what we see. Use manipulatives and it's easier to see and understand what's happening to numbers in algorithms.

It is not easy to explain to 2nd or 3rd grade students how the 1s are different in each example. Teaching elementary mathematics requires far more skill than most folks expect. #iTeachMath

It’s Random Act of Kindness Day Share a piece of chocolate with a friend, surprise a neighbor, or treat a colleague. Remember, kindness is like chocolate—best when shared ;) keep in mind that a smile, a kind word, or a small gesture can brighten someone's day. Share happiness! ❤️

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a revered social rights activist, Baptist minister and a leader of the American civil rights movement. Dr. King worked with Black communities to organize demonstrations and marches that challenged anti-Black racism, oppression and violence. Dr. King and other Black people within the civil rights movement risked their lives to advance the recognition of Black rights in the areas of poverty, wage discrimination, housing, education, justice and peace. Dr. King was tragically assassinated on April 4th, 1968. His life and achievements are now honoured on the third Monday of January every year.
