Today I am thinking about what fun @mr_harmonSU, @MsSmith_14, and I had dressing up for our 6th graders at @MBElementary for Boo Bash! Missing my friends and our sweet students!

@MsMollyDowning @mr_harmonSU @MBElementary This was so much fun!! I am so glad that I got to be a part of such an amazing school and amazing class!! I miss student teaching, my students, and my friends!!!

Reflecting on some of the past PD events from this year, and I was reminded of leading Random Acts of Kindess Week at MBE! I learned so much about teacher leadership during this week from collaborating with lead teachers, the principal, and my peers! I am so grateful for PD!

@Miss_BurtonSU I think my personal favorite has been Zoom! I like seeing all of my classmates since we can’t meet right now! Our professors also have not been keeping us too long so that has helped me stay more focused!

@MsSmith_14 I also think it has been challenging! Speaking as a college student, I have had trouble staying focused, I can not even imagine if I were in middle or high school right now!

As I wrap up my unit, I am looking back on the Gifted Education Seminar by @pattiwood. I learned the importance of choice for gifted students and the use of a choice board. Here is mine for my unit and I cannot wait to make more for my students later on! #choice #gifted #unit

@Miss_Cushing @AlabamaLiteracy I loved that strategy! I was thinking about embedding that strategy in my unit as well! I think this strategy pairs so well with the concept based unit!!!

As I am finishing writing my concept-based unit, I was reminded about a strategy that I learned about during ALA Conference @AlabamaLiteracy this fall. Lynne Dorfman shared her version of “Think, Ink, Pair, Share”, and it has been a strategy I have loved using throughout my unit!
