A mother's life is on the line here, please help me retweet 😩🙏
Rita Sunshine@1RitaSunshine
Call for help. My mum was hit with a stroke in may 2024. Since then our lives haven't remained the same. My family have spent all our savings yet her condition hasn't changed. She has severe BP challenge, she has diabetes. Which has gone on to take a toll on her kidneys.

Our children are being stolen. Between Jan 2025–Mar 2026, Kenya recorded 10,581 child protection cases,1,952 abductions, 173 trafficking cases. That is 23 children a day.
Last week in Githurai, a 2-year-old was kidnapped by a teenager sent to steal a child for a phone. In Juja, residents shut down the Thika Superhighway after 4 children vanished in two weeks. In Central Kenya, 372 violence-against-children incidents in under a year. This is a national emergency.
The Penal Code provides for life imprisonment for kidnappers. I want to see DCI and DPP match that seriousness with urgent investigations and full prosecutions, not just press releases.
To every Kenyan, watch the children around you. Speak up and report because if we do not protect our children, we have failed at the most fundamental duty of a society. Our children are not a footnote. They are our future.

I am informed that several matatu saccos have independently parked their vehicles. Kenyans must support them with TOTAL SHUTDOWN, Ruto thought it best that buying out several "leaders" of the industry will stop the strike.

BREAKING: Jimmy Wanjigi has taken Nation Media Group to the Supreme Court over the fake obituary Daily Nation published declaring him dead.
Yes, dead.
Many of you might have thought Wanjigi already won this case years ago after being awarded KSh 8 million, and that the case had been closed.
Not anymore.
The Court of Appeal overturned that payout on 25 March 2026 and ruled that media houses may not be liable for fake paid ads or obituaries if they had no reason to suspect fraud.
Wanjigi has now escalated the fight to the Supreme Court.
This case could change Kenyan media forever.
If a newspaper publishes a fake obituary, fake advert, or damaging paid notice,
Should the media house be responsible or not?
That is now the question before the Supreme Court.
Case: SCPT/E009/2026
