Today, I also tasted the fruits of NRM efforts. I landed at Kabaale where a new airport is being constructed to international standards, with a 5km runway, then travelled to Kigorobya on a largely tarmacked road about 70kms.

UNOC has a key role in ensuring the sustainability of petroleum resource production and reserve replacement in the country. In this regard, UNOC is planning to acquire exploration licenses with a view of increasing the resource base of the country. @PAU_Uganda @energyministry

The extractives governance unit under @actionaiduganda in partnership with Kitadi development Initiative (KDI) host a workshop to appreciate environment issues in the ESIA report on the EACOP for which @nemaug recently called for public views @PAU_Uganda @UNOC_UG

The main products from the refinery where UNOC holds 40% participating interest are expected to be Gasoline, Diesel, Aviation fuel, Liquid Petroleum Gas & Fuel Oil. Gasoline, Diesel, & Aviation fuel will be transported by a multiple product pipeline to Kampala Storage Terminal.
