Henry Nowak, 18, a first-year University of Southampton student from Essex, was stabbed to death on December 3, 2025, while walking home after a night out with friends.
He filmed suspect Vickrum Digwa, 23, who was carrying a 21cm ceremonial knife. Digwa stabbed him multiple times after taking offense. As Nowak bled out, arriving police first handcuffed him (per bodycam and reports citing the suspect's claims) before providing aid. He died at the scene.
