I had forgotten how much I HATE Tom Holland's Spider-Man.
Then I re-watched "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and the reason why hit me like a truck: he's a dumb MODERN LIBERAL.

And now he’s about to ruin “Brand New Day” with his constant failure and weakness.
I thank God this will be his last outing in the role.

The rallying around Crimson Desert as a game that NEEDS to succeed and be really fun in order to somehow own the libs is a generally fascinating and confounding phenomenon that seemed to come out of nowhere.

Crimson desert getting hate for a bad a story is kinda funny, because nioh 3 story is hilariously bad but the gameplay is phenomenal
Dmc story is ass but the gameplay and characters are fun
Ninja gaiden story is atrocious but the gameplay is phenomenal

Things that happen in the first hour and a half of Crimson Desert:
> MC gets his throat slit in the first few minutes of the game
> as soon as you get into the city, which is like 20 minutes in, there is a side encounter with a little girl who looks quite normal. If you help her with her cat, she invites you to her village and she just vanishes;
> A beggar gives you a key to the sewer after you give it a coin, then there's a noble captured in there and when you help her, she gives you a key to what feels like an alternate dimension. Oh, then she vanishes too;
> You go to the sky, where there are floating structures that is too technologically advanced for the setting. You can see the entire map from there;
> You gain the ability to glide by transforming in a crow-like thing;

@NaKeD46 @malphier @DireRavennn RPG's do at least in some part require a story to further define your role in that world and the role you play, be it Dragonborn, Tarnished, Avowed, Forspoken, or Commander Sheppard.

We need to actually use proper terms if there's no narrative then you're not role playing you're playing an adventure game because you're having an adventure. Like what you want but use the proper labels
