𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬 Government’s directive is clear: restore order in our cities and municipalities while ensuring traders operate in safe, designated and lawful spaces. No Ugandan should earn a living in unsafe drainage channels, road reserves or congested walkways. Through continued engagement, sensitisation and the creation of alternative trading spaces, Government is committed to balancing public order with protecting livelihoods. @MoLGUganda @mtic_uganda #OpenGovUg

@Rwabihurwa311 @kanyerezi8 @mkatagaya @UNRA_UG @MoWT_Uganda @grok Mr. Rwabihurwa, please exercise reasoning here. You don't need grok to understand basic things in life. In design there is what we call minimum standards. You cannot design a major national road with minimum standards like a road to your estate. Even grok says its passes.

This driver has exposed and perhaps mostly emphasized what we all know that the roads are small. @UNRA_UG @MoWT_Uganda would you help put an end to road carnage! Separate and widen the lanes! Also is the money for the other meters being swindled or the roads are designed this small? If yes, by who? What’s their motive?

@ssennyonjoRoger @TGawola I think you are right. You guys simetimes be performing at your very best. Just like all the other fields, the problems of our medical field are systemic beyond what individual can do. The only problem is that in your case lives are literally at stake.

@Musinguzisam1 @TGawola I did internship 4 yrs back. Intern doctors are actually well trained to do C/sections. Only that they must know when to have a senior do the procedure instead of them.

I performed 123 C/sections as an intern doctor (I used to count), and majority of them I was being assisted by either a fellow intern doctor, or a medical student. Medical officers should be able to do C/sections, but know when not to. Forexample cases like placenta accreta, eclampsia, fetal anomalies like hydrocephalus etc shouldnt be handled by an MO.
Dr. Stan@stansyke

My medical hot takes: 1. Every c/section should be done by a gynaecologist. 2. Every hospital with a theatre should have a permanent anaesthesiologist. 3. COs have no business being in theatre. AT ALL. 4. MOs should only do minor procedures.

@TGawola @ssennyonjoRoger You guys can laugh as much as you want. But, the many cases and reports of unnecessary death from incompetence speak for themselves. In the US it can take a practitioner up to 7 years before he can even think of doing a C section. In Uganda interns brag online about this.

@NestaLarry @AlansMwesigwa Then why don't we arrest all the bus and taxi owners whose cars get into accidents. I may be a layman but unlike you, I can tell when the law is being used unfairly or selectively.

@Musinguzisam1 @AlansMwesigwa That's the difference between you a layman and a lawyer! This scenario, in law, we call it vicarious liability. YES you are liable of unlawful acts of your employee at times, depending on circumstances. You must be sure you car is being driven by a qualified driver, at all times

@faith_nabushawo Many times "doctors" have directed me to places only to find out they didn't work there. A friend works there and they are "renting" the equipment for that "window". Considering unscrupulous ways of medical officers I believe the victims. We need a law for medical incompetence.

So she presented with APH, according what I just read, and goes on to say an intern did the surgery which ended in a cesarean hysterectomy with no doctor in Kawempe National referral?! What a joke. As someone who did internship in Kawempe, this cannot be true. First of all for an intern to do a procedure there, I mean a normal uncomplicated c section, you’ve to push for it so much to be given an opportunity and you work with resident doctors and or specialists. Now to tell me you came with APH and only interns attended to you in such a facility is a joke I can’t take.

@Wassajja_Aiden @KCCAUG One of traits of a failing institution is the many laws and news ones everyday. In Uganda we have laws for everything. I seam to lose count of them now. For a legitimate gov't, some of these things just require stake holder engagement nothing more.

The new @KCCAUG regulation requiring registration of all boda bodas in Kampala, with only 27,870 registered riders operating from 929 gazetted stages across the five divisions, is a bold and necessary step. This will help restore order, reduce congestion in the CBD, and seriously fight the criminality (snatch thefts, robberies, hit-and-runs) that has thrived in the unregulated chaos. No more anonymous riders blending into the crowd. Big thanks to @Buzeki_Sharifah and the Lord Mayor for pushing this forward. Kampala deserves better safer roads, less disorder, and a more organised city. Implementation and fair enforcement will be key. Let's support what works for a better Kampala!

@NewtonAllan6 There is no amount of gaslighting that will make us think that what we know is no true. Other than organ havesting being a multi-billion industry world wide, it's a lived experience for a number of Ugandans.

What we know about 22 year old Nakibuuka Irene that died yesterday; on March 9th, @yubdenis1 shared a TikTok video where Irene was saying she was kidnapped by security officers on January 15, the day Uganda went to the polls. She said she was found with other girls talking about the elections and three of them where taken to an unknown place by masked army officers. Irene said they were injected with unknown substances, made to spent nights in water and were kept naked. She said they were released on Feb 14. She repeated this exact same story when @AgoraCFR interviewed her on March 13, after some Ugandans contributed money and @yubdenis1 and I coordinated her travel to Mulago. In Mulago, so many tests were carried out but unfortunately she ran way from the hospital before some results came out and didn’t see any point of continuing with treatment. She had given up on life. The results that had already come out showed; Newly Diagnosed ISS,ART (meaning someone just diagnosed with HIV and hasn't been initiated on ARVs yet). 2-Pulmonary TB Ass/with Gross pleural effusion and moderate Ascites 3-kaposi sarcoma. We hadn’t independently verified what she said nor do we know whether she contracted those illnesses after being kidnapped or if the conditions she was kept in simply aggravated already existing conditions.

Inside Uganda’s C-Section fraud racket For many families, the decision to accept a Caesarean birth is made under intense pressure and fear. “In some cases, the decision has little to do with strict medical necessity. The profession allows doctors to exercise their judgement, but there is misuse of trust, there is exploitation, and there is abuse, and that is where regulation needs to come in,” the expert said. When your energy infrastructure is destroyed, your Scientific research centres, your universities, schools, your water sources, your Population killed, cities reduced to rubble,..... yet you could have prevented it from happening, how can that be a sign of INTELLIGENCE!

@jamesonen According to studies, for someone to be able to count money they need to have an IQ of 80-90. So clearly the only people who are of low IQ are the ones who think that on average the whole of Africa can't count money. So, Mr. @jamesonen please try going for an IQ test.
