learnings after submitting 3 apps on app store 🤝🏻 General 1. include a screen recording 2. include a description of what your app does (in the notes) 3. prepare Privacy Policy & Terms of Use. In my experience, having them on a Notion Page is okay. (you don't need to spend $ on hosting a website) Creating App Store Pictures 1. check which size you need before and then start making them. It'll save you a lot of work later. 2. make sure they DON'T include alpha channels (my Figma export always includes them) Review Time 1. Review are usually within 48 hours 2. Weekends are more slow sometimes 3. If they don't review your app in 3 days, send email to support & ask about it. In my case, it took less than an hour and they started reviewing

This might sound silly but what I miss the most about life as a healthy person was just being able to get up and go to places. I can't walk or sit up without causing myself pain, so I now walk with a limp and use a cane for support. I can't go for a walk to calm my mind, can't sit for too long, can't bend to pick something off the ground, can't lift a bag, can't use a knife, can't stand for a few minutes. Can't, can't, can't. Can't do anything normally anymore. I have to plan out every little thing and quite usually it all comes apart in the end and I don't get a say in how any of this works. Count your blessings, you don't want to end up like me. I'm quite literally a useless burden and I feel terrible about the people who have to put up with me.

I was considering that and some other workarounds but it seems like that would be against their TOS still, well at least according to my lawyer gpt 5.5 hahah Honestly now Stripe themselves are doing "Stripe onramp" (which I actually have already integrated in the web app) for USDC, but it basically only works in the US now and still asks a few painful extra KYC/etc. steps, so it's not perfect. But I believe in about a year from now, the situation with stablecoin onramp will be much much better, so now I'm focusing more on making the product better and not focusing much on growth yet But I've built another Squadletics mode now (still not launched), and if it will get traction - that one I'll do as an iOS app with regular Stripe subscriptions (and just extra prizes in USDC for some users - but not directly the "challenges" mechanics). It's going to be like a RISK strategy game where you conquer the world map, but attacking countries means you need to do more pushups etc. than the current owner's "defense"

Im thinking about maybe launching with no money involved, but it wouldn't hold users as accountable compared to putting money in

My app @squadletics is like that but instead of walking it's home fitness exercises like pushups, squats, jumping jacks. And you have to do the reps in front of the camera, AI verifies them It's been live for a year now, over 34 000 unique users participated in challenges and won/lost money (running challenges are going live in a week too btw)
