@DaudiKabanda Dear hon Daudi as people from Bukedea we are not happy, kindly inform our general @mkainerugaba that we love what he is doing in the country to fight corruption especially in parliament but he should apply the same to Hon @AnitahAmong 's deputy too....
English

Now that the recent events in Uganda, including the police search of the speaker’s homes, have established, on the preponderance of evidence, that the anti-corruption protestors may have been right after all, we must discontinue all charges against these protestors, unconditionally release those in jail, and wipe the criminal records of those already convicted.
We will address the issue of acquiescent judicial officers in this matter at a later date. They will get their comeuppance, for sure. But if we are indeed serious, these young people should be applauded, not condemned, as they have been, as agents of foreigners, etc.

RE: SPEAKERSHIP RACE
I wish to draw the attention of the public to the matters regarding the Speakership race.
After wide consultations and deep introspection, and to maintain harmony and clarity in my beloved party, the @NRMOnline, I wish to categorically and unequivocally state that I will not be offering myself for the Speakership race of the 12th Parliament.
I am greatly indebted to H.E @KagutaMuseveni, my party, the @NRMOnline, and members of the 11th Parliament for giving me the opportunity to serve as Deputy Speaker and Speaker.
I am equally indebted to my family and friends for the solidarity and support they have extended to me over the last five years.
I pledge my total support to the candidates who will be endorsed by the President and the Party, and Implore all colleague MPs of the 12th Parliament to do the same.
I shall remain available to the service of my country as the party and the President may assign me.
In the meantime, I pledge to continue cooperating with all ongoing investigations as initiated by the relevant organs of the state to get to the root of all the allegations raised.
FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY.

In the spirit of unity, cohesion, and mature party politics, I am delighted to join my brother, Hon. Calvin Echodu, MP Soroti City West and vice chairman NRM Eastern at his dinner gathering this evening at Silver Springs Hotel. Moments like these remind us that leadership is not only about competition, but also about building bridges, fostering understanding, and strengthening the bonds that unite us as one people with a shared vision for progress.
As leaders, we must continue to embrace dialogue, mutual respect, and collaboration for the greater good of our communities and our nation. Political maturity calls upon us to rise above divisions and focus on what truly matters service to the people, development, peace, and national transformation.
I commend Hon. Calvin Echodu for this thoughtful initiative that brings together colleagues, friends, and well-wishers in an atmosphere of friendship and solidarity. Such engagements are important in nurturing trust, harmony, and collective responsibility among leaders.
May this evening inspire renewed commitment to teamwork, patriotism, and inclusive leadership as we continue working together for a stronger and more united Uganda.

Today, in the company of my mother I had the honour and privilege of being sworn in as the Woman Member of Parliament for Kitgum District in the 12th Parliament of Uganda. I am deeply humbled by the trust and confidence the people of Kitgum have placed in me to represent their voices and aspirations.
This moment is not only a personal milestone but also a renewed commitment to serve with dedication, integrity, and unwavering focus on improving the livelihoods of our people, especially women, youth, and vulnerable communities under the leadership and vision of the NRM Government.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Kitgum District, our leaders, supporters, family, and friends who have stood with me throughout this journey. Your encouragement and belief continue to inspire me to work harder for the development and transformation of our district.
As we begin this new chapter, I look forward to working together with fellow leaders and all stakeholders to advance peace, service delivery, and sustainable development for our people and our nation. @mkainerugaba @KagutaMuseveni @OPMUganda @Parliament_Ug
