'Come to a different view' rather than simply accept it's a broken promise. No-one is buying it, Treasurer. #Budget2026

It's quaint that Pauline Hanson who started her political career with the Liberal Party, might end up rejoining them in a coalition. I wonder what Ministry she would get if this happens?

This truly is one of the darkest days in recent Australian history. The very week that the royal commission into antimsemtism kicks off, this abomination of a federal government has welcomed the ISIS brides back into this country. ISIS inspired the sadistic terrorists responsible for the Jewish massacre at Bondi Beach (the catalyst for the royal commission) and the Lindt Cafe siege. It's almost as if Albanese, Burke, Wong and their cronies are taunting the Jewish community. They are actively doing everything they can to destroy Australia and transform it into something completely different. But make no mistake, this is far from only deeply concerning for Australia's Jews, it is a massive slap in the face to every Australian citizen, especially members of the minority communities who ISIS actively targeted during their unspeakably barbaric rampage a decade ago and fled from the Middle East to Australia to escape the horrors they endured. Can you imagine how Australia's Yazidi and Christian refugees, who were victims of ISIS atrocities, are feeling right now? More broadly, this is an alarming development for all Australians. ISIS adheres to the depraved Islamic ideology that believes ALL "non-believers" (ie. non-Muslims) should be either subjugated, converted or slaughtered in the name of their god and that there should a global Islamic caliphate (ie. the destruction of Australia and the entire Western civilisation). So why the hell have the ISIS brides been allowed back into this country? They denounced Australia when they left to go to Syria to marry ISIS terrorists – some of the most evil, demonic, disgusting people who have ever existed – and, as far as I'm concerned, in doing so they forfeited their Australian citizenship and any right to return to this beautiful country that they gave the big middle finger to. They would be laughing deep down inside that this moronic government actually allowed them to return. The ISIS brides are anything BUT Australian. They adhere to the same sadistic, racist, supremacist, antisemitic, Islamic ideology as their husbands. It is an ideology that is completely antithetical to the Aussie values we hold dear of freedom of speech, freedom of religion, pluralism, women/gay/minority rights, etc., and, in fact, wants to destroy our country and our way of life. Between 2013-2017 in particular, ISIS and its terrorists were responsible for genocide and sectarian killings of religious minorities, sexual violence/slavery/trafficking/abduction and rape, mass executions, use of kidnapped child soldiers as human shields and in suicide attacks, deliberate cultural destruction of ancient cities and artefacts and the use of chemical weapons. As well as Bondi and Lindt Café, ISIS has also inspired multiple terror attacks in cities all around the world such as London, Paris, Boston, Nice and Brussels. So, again, why the hell are we bringing the ISIS brides back to Australia? To borrow a phrase from the great @GadSaad , this is suicidal empathy on steroids. And who were the people that greeted them at the airports? Were they born here? Or did they immigrate here? If the latter, how the hell did that happen? They should be top of the deportation list. If the former, well then, that is absolutely shameful and disturbing that a homegrown Aussie would choose such a wicked ideology over their country of birth. They should all be on ASIO terror watch lists! An absolutely shameful day for the Albanese government and the country they supposedly swore to protect.

Jim Chalmers is Dr Denial when it comes to the impact of his spending addiction to inflation. He continues to pour debt petrol on the inflation fire, and that’s why Australians now have to pay more.

@MuzMuzzzzz @strangerous10 Good question as I think a vote for greens a waste as they’re too extreme. I’m centre left so who can I vote for? Labor was good last time and benefited me but they too aligned with corporations. Any idea

Jim Chalmers on Sunrise corrects Natalie Barr’s false $30B “cash grab” claim on CGT/Negative Gearing—reminding her that per the PBO, she’s “nowhere near” the mark. Does Barr’s well-documented history of buying luxury homes explain why she’d push these false claims?🙄 #auspol
