@PostaUganda @Posta_Ugand @Posta_Uganda just the fact that you have three handles running on X explains a lot. However, this is not why I'm writing to you. Are you aware of the vibrant online shopping community in Uganda? Jiji, for example. Plus many other online shopping platforms? And many individuals who sell their products online? Do you want to work for Ugandans? Each time an online transaction is made, there is a boda taking the product from the buyer to the seller, and a payment made either to the boda in cash, or to the seller via mobile money. Do you recognise the gap that can be filled by your courier service? Do you realise your courier can pick up the parcel, giving a receipt to the seller and a tracking number to the buyer? Then take the parcel to Posta for sorting and consolidation? Then take consolidated parcels to all Posta offices countrywide? Then last mile couriers deliver to the buyers, collect payment in cash or via merchant code? Then reconcile payments at the end of the day and remit payments to sellers, while keeping the shipping fees on Posta account? Do you realise how you can boost online businesses countrywide with organised, reliable, and guaranteed last mile delivery? Do you realise the parcels can be anything from slippers, clothing, tools, household items, to food and furniture, with guaranteed delivery within one to two days? Do you have any idea how many more businesses can spring up if they know their last mile delivery is reliably sorted? Do you have any idea how many more buyers can spring up from upcountry locations, if you give this a chance? Just think of the role you can play. Sitting on existing infrastructure and doing nothing is probably the best. Why would you, after all, add more work and earn more money? Or, even better, why would you perform your basic duty of facilitating internal communication and trade? Anyway, don't mind me. As you were.

I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that. Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it. Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games. Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on. As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.

The residents of Bukoto Katende Zone state that the situation is not acceptable on any level and urge @KCCAUG to listen to the noise, saying that they cannot sleep. They add that residents along Kisota Road and surrounding communities also cannot sleep, and tell @nemaug that a bulldozer is not needed for this issue. They explain that a bar has been built in what is clearly a wetland in their residential neighborhood land that used to serve as parking yards for trucks and is operating every single night with blaring music and shouting on microphones, showing complete disregard for the people living there. They say that families cannot sleep, there is no peace, and there is no enforcement. The residents point out that the wetland was not cleared quietly, but in broad daylight over time, under KCCA’s watch. They note that evidence has been shared and complaints have been raised, yet nothing has been done. They ask where the City Public Health Department, enforcement, and accountability are. They emphasize that the issue is bigger than noise, describing it as environmental destruction, public health negligence, and a failure of duty. The residents stress that a wetland is not just empty land, as it protects the city from flooding, supports ecosystems, and is legally protected. They warn that allowing it to be grabbed and turned into a noise-polluting commercial space sets a dangerous precedent that laws and communities do not matter. They further argue that when a bar operates nightly at full volume in a residential area with no intervention, it sends a clear message that enforcement is optional which, they insist, it is not. The residents call on @KCCAUG to do its job by shutting down illegal operations in protected wetlands, enforcing noise regulations immediately, responding to citizen reports in real time, and restoring order to protect the environment and give residents back their right to peace at night. They state that the situation is ongoing, visible, and documented, and urge KCCA to listen to the noise levels from across the road where Gen. Wamala was shot. They conclude that the matter demands action immediately. Cc: Eddie Okila(One of the residents)

#ChimpWarsUganda - Uganda 🇺🇬 In Uganda’s Kibale National Park, one of the world’s largest chimpanzee communities has split into rival factions in what scientists are calling a rare chimp “civil war.” These were once one united social family, grooming together, hunting together and defending territory as one. Now, after a rare split, the same social intelligence that built unity is driving coordinated conflict into World’s largest wild chimpanzees civil war for the first time. #VisitUganda @TourismBoardUg | #ExploreUganda |#ChimpWarsUganda |#PrimateCapitalOfTheWorld |#EquatorPosts | #PearlOfAfricaPrimates

This ‘civil war’ started gradually around 2015, when 3 male groups began separating, reconciliation reduced, distance increased, and communication slowly turned into avoidance and hostility. By 2018, clear boundaries had formed, and territorial control became the main issue. In 2014, six chimpanzees died due to unknown reasons and the following year, the dominant male was overthrown, changing the power structure within the group. Then later, an epidemic led to the death of about 25 chimpanzees. Among them was the last individual believed to still connect both groups. Once that connection was gone, division became stronger. These patterns are often compared to human societies, where territory, leadership, and survival pressures can shape conflict in similar ways. #ChimpWarsUganda | #PrimateCapitalOfTheWorld | #PearlOfAfricaPrimates | #ExploreUganda @cnnbrk @AJENews @francisnyende @wekesa_amos @LillyAjarova

There is no ongoing “chimpanzee war” in Kibale NP. What has been reported comes from the Ngogo chimpanzee community a long term research group that has been studied for over 30 years. Scientists documented a rare, gradual social split within this research community, unfolding over nearly a decade, with some isolated past conflicts not a current active battle. Crucially, the drivers are not yet fully understood. Researchers have proposed possible explanations, including group size pressures, shifting alliances, and loss of key individuals, but no definitive cause has been established. This is high level scientific research from one of the world’s leading primate study sites offering insight, not alarm. Let’s avoid sensational headlines and focus on facts.
