Reservation €25 + local taxes (€7) = ~€33 The host tried to charge us an extra 19% claiming it was to cover commission @bookingcom refused to enforce the confirmed price, leaving us stranded at 6pm in a dangerous capital of latin america. This is not customer protection!!

@bookingcom If this is the level of support now offered to a Genius Level 3 customer with hundreds of reservations over 10 years, then I’m seriously reconsidering continuing to use @bookingcom.

@bookingcom I did contact your 24/7 Customer Support via the priority phone line and spent 40+ minutes on the call. The only solution offered was free cancellation, with no enforcement of the confirmed price and no alternative accommodation, leaving us stranded at 6pm.
