This H-1B worker has lived in the US for nearly 20 years and built a family here. His mom was dying in India. To visit her, he would need to wait months to book a consular appointment--with the soonest one available likely being scheduled one year out. He made the difficult choice of not visiting his dying mom because leaving without an appointment would mean separation from his children, job, and his other obligations. Much of the commentary around immigration focuses on how such bureaucratic burdens undermine immigrants’ ability to contribute and innovate. But we must remember that this red tape also prevents these people from being fully engaged with their own lives and meaningfully present in the lives of others. This matters too, and these seemingly non-economic problems will eventually translate into economic costs. If America is no longer a place where people feel empowered to be the best versions of themselves as they celebrate, struggle, and grieve, it ceases not just being the land of opportunity, but also the land of dignity and purpose. linkedin.com/posts/gautam-d…

Interesting results out of Frisco, Texas: Every candidate with an Indian last name running for an election in Frisco is getting destroyed. None are in runoff territory.

Such is the state of Hyderabad ORR - Heavy vehicles line up in a no-parking zone. And then we wonder why accidents happen. Who are responsible for operating it as per process. No fines/challans for vehicles stopping in no parking zone. These illegal parkings are killing people. And even you could see a guy stopped to urinate. Amid of the recent spike in ORR accidents having these issues addressed will prevent further accidents. @revathitweets @santhoshadvocte @sumanthredddy @motordave2 @TeluguScribe

Absolutely disgusted with @Emirates. Bought a Business Class ticket on Expedia thinking I was flying a top class airline. At check-in they refused lounge access and treated me like dirt with the rudest staff imaginable. Flying through danger zones already had me worried , i now know why. Emirates is the airline from hell.

Pathetic Behaviour by Virat Kohli!! A 6 Year old kid waited for around 3 hours to get an Autograph of Virat Kohli. When Kohli Arrived, the security team did not allow the child to go near Kohli. The Boy followed him to get a glimpse of Kohli but he was asked to go!! The child felt cheated and embarrassed and threw his bat and kept crying but he did not get the autograph!! Kohli could have given the autograph and made the kid happy but he chose to ignore him!! This is pathetic Behaviour!! Don't forget Fans make superstars!!

ROSEMARY JENKS: By pausing the entire H-1B system for three years and making all current H-1B holders leave, we will have an opportunity to sort through them and set a cap at 25,000 with no exceptions. This will make it a whole lot easier for the State Department and USCIS to vet them! Additionally, by requiring a minimum salary of $200,000, employers will have an incentive to be very sure that the people they are bringing in from abroad have the credentials they say they have. @iaproject

Open letter to Indians in America. -- Dear brothers and sisters from Bharat: Like I did 37 years ago, you arrived in America with no money but with a good education and cultural heritage from Bharat. You achieved outstanding success. America was good to us. For that we must remain grateful - gratitude is our Bharatiya way. Yet today, a significant number of Americans, may be not the majority but not too far from it either, believe that Indians "take away" American jobs and our success in America was unfairly earned. You may think the next election will fix this, but your choice would be between people who hate our Bharatiya civilisation and people who hate civilisation itself. That is the "hard right" vs "woke left" battle. You are mere bystanders to that conflict. Meanwhile there is one thing that is true now and will be true in the future: the respect Indians command world-wide will substantially depend on the fortunes of India herself. If India remains poor, the woke left will give us moral lectures with pity and the hard right, different moral lectures with scorn ("hellhole") and we must not confuse either with respect. Respect in today's world, along with prosperity and security, comes from one source: a nation's technological prowess. India produces sufficient brain power to achieve that prowess but alas we exported so much of that talent, particularly to America. As we develop that prowess in India, our civilisational strength will assert itself. As difficult as it is for many of you to contemplate this, please come back home. Bharat Mata needs your talent. Our vast youthful population needs the technology leadership you gained over the years to guide them towards prosperity. Let's do it with a missionary zeal. Respectfully Sridhar Vembu

My college friend -a tech guy- earns ₹52 LPA in Bangalore. Bought a 3BHK in Whitefield Bangalore last year. Wife + One small kid. Last week he called me sounding completely broken: “Bro… I’m actually going broke.” I laughed. “Bro, 52 lakh package? Stop joking.” Then he showed me the real numbers. Monthly take-home: ₹2.85 Lakh Expenses: • ₹1.08L → Home loan EMI • ₹35k → One kid’s school fees • ₹28k → Groceries & milk • ₹18k → Society maintenance • ₹18k → Maid + cook + nanny • ₹15k → Car EMI + fuel • ₹12k → Electricity, water, WiFi • ₹45k → Family health insurance Total: ₹2.93 Lakh He is short ₹8,000 every month… before festivals, date nights, or any emergency. A decade ago? The same flat + same lifestyle needed only ₹18–20 lakh salary. Today even ₹52 lakh feels like you’re running on a treadmill that keeps speeding up. The economy is genuinely cooked for every 9-5 salaried guy who thought he “made it.” The scariest part? You don’t feel poor… until the math hits you.

Hindu Americans must all respond to Trump's "hell hole" comment by boycotting America and moving back to Amritkaal in Viksit Bharat. I beseech all of you to cancel your US citizenships, green cards and green card/citizenship applications and H1B visas and move back. This boycott will cripple the US and bring Trump to its knees.

just remembered that Lutnick claimed on the All In podcast that he sold 1,000 gold cards on the first day and that Trump thought the program would raise $5T. The Polymarket spiked but then it resolved to 0 sold in 2025. Now he says they've sold 1 card and raised $1M

In reality: OPT is temporary. Employers know: They’ll need to sponsor an H-1B visa soon That process is uncertain and now expensive and competitive. This is just another attempt to blame immigrants for all of life’s woes.
Senator Eric Schmitt@SenEricSchmitt

Wrong. OPT is solely for recent grads—meaning up to 20% of the relevant labor pool is taxpayer subsidized foreign labor. California had 239,105 bachelor's graduates last year. California has 46,547 OPT workers. Why is CATO fighting so hard for taxpayer subsidized foreign labor?

You may have heard about the H-1B scam, but have you heard about the OPT program? Never authorized by Congress & expanded by Obama, OPT floods the market with tax-exempt jobs for foreign students—leaving American students at a disadvantage. I'm leading S. 2821 to end this mess.
NumbersUSA@NumbersUSA

The OPT program gives employers discounts for NOT hiring Americans. It has grown by 400% in recent years and is now larger than the H-1B program. Watch our video exposing the this insane program and why it must end:

The H1B Visa program has been hijacked, used, & abused as part of the globalists Great Replacement Theory, which is no longer a theory. It’s reality. A handful of lawmakers have just introduced a bill for a 3 year pause on H1B Visas. I support this pause. I’m tired of American workers being replaced.
