@rachelvscott This man is such a horrendous human being. Your question was the most important question that anyone could have asked. The retort of the dim-witted is the ad hominem attack. Oh and it is called the REFLECTING POOL. He is so senile that he can’t even get the name straight.

Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach. The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.

🚨 HOLY SMOKES. A senior Army nuclear scientist who oversaw our NUCLEAR arsenal has been placed on leave by Sec. Hegseth, and could face CRIMINAL prosecution after being EXPOSED BY James O'Keefe He is accused of divulging NUCLEAR SECRETS and MISSILE locations. Wow. "Two segments of the video apparently capture Hugg disclosing to his young female interlocutor at least 4 locations of underground nuclear missiles and critical aspects of the launch process under which they could be fired off in the event of a nuclear conflict." "Hugg appears to divulge classified information in a range of areas from ongoing use of nerve agents to war planning in Iran." Great work @JamesOKeefeIII!

Steven Seagal says Tom Cruise was one of the worst casting choices in The Last Samurai. “They have a 5-foot-2-inch little guy, whether he was straight or gay, I don’t know. He had never been to Japan. He doesn’t speak Japanese. He has never held a sword. They make him the Last Samurai.” “I was raised in Japan. I was schooled in martial arts. I was given the title of master. We got 450,000 phone calls from everybody in the world saying, ‘That role was perfect for you. How did that happen?” “Most of the people I know didn’t like the film and didn’t go see it. It’s just a classic example of Hollywood and the politics.”

In 1944, during a meeting with his generals, Hitler asked his adjutant Fritz Darges to dispose of a fly that had begun buzzing around the room. Darges joked that being airborne, it should be swatted by someone in the Luftwaffe. Hitler had him fired on the spot and transferred to the Eastern front.

@VoicesofWW2 My Grandfather fought against the Italians and Germans in Sicily. I remember stories he would tell. The SS were no myth. They absolutely were better fighters and everyone on the battlefield knew it. The Italians on the other hand, not so much.

9/ So where did the myth come from? Largely from the SS themselves. Postwar memoirs were written by former SS soldiers who had every reason to rebrand themselves as apolitical professionals instead of ideological warriors for a genocidal regime.

Responsibility is an absolute beast, but as a parent, you have to be the one to put your foot down. A father was just sentenced to 37 years in prison because he let his unlicensed 15-year-old son take his car keys just to back out of the driveway. Instead, the kid sped off, blew a stop sign at 80mph, and killed a grandmother and three young children. Here is the most sobering part of the entire tragedy: The teenage son took a plea deal and will be released when he turns 19. His father got nearly four decades behind bars because, in the eyes of the law, he was the adult legally responsible for handing over those keys.
