The Celtics have reportedly signed F Tucker DeVries to an Exhibit 10 contract. Averaging 11 PPG, 1 RPG, 1.5 APG, and 7.5 3PA in Summer League. Shooting 41.2% on FGs, 40% from 3, and 100% at the FT line.

I had Uzan under consideration for the 40th selection. I'm happy he's taking another step towards the pros.

The Boston Celtics have signed Tucker DeVries and Milos Uzan to Exhibit 10 contracts, a league source told @spotrac. E10 deals are non-guaranteed training camp contracts. After camp the vast majority of E10 signings will end up joining the franchise’s G League affiliate.

It was a tough showing for the Celtics, playing in their third game in four days and on the second half of a b2b. However, they competed until the end. Amari and Hugo might be done for the SL, which is great. There are players on the bench looking for a chance.

Boston opens up with 10 straight at home out of the break. All against AL East opponents. That stretch will ultimately determine what the front office does at the deadline. Sox need to start winning at home, now.

I don't think the offense is doing Walsh favors. Walsh shouldn't be just waiting to shoot threes. This applies to his teammates, as well.

More Uzan, and Day Day as his back-up. Still waiting for a Wiggins debut. Mitchell was a bit chaotic. Clean it up a little. Defensive potential is there.

Long post, but hopefully I've earned the benefit of the doubt with most Celtics fans that they take five minutes to read this... Another Jaylen Brown trade thought I had today and why it was a really difficult needle to thread for Stevens. The Hornets reportedly (take it for what it's worth) offered Naz Reid, Miles Bridges, and "draft compensation." The Celtics reportedly countered with Brandon Miller and more than three first-round picks. Now, some might say, "The C's would have been better off with Bridges and Reid with draft compensation than George, why not just take it?!" - 1) We don't know the draft compensation offered - 2) Miles Bridges' history likely ruled him out And, this is a big reason why acquiring the George contract makes sense, if the ultimate aim is next offseason... - 3) If you wanted to acquire someone who's making a shit ton of money next offseason, it's much more difficult to do with multiple contracts...The C's would then be dealing from their depth which flies in the face of the idea Stevens shared in the press conference. Ideally, you get a young star and picks...If you don't get that, picks and someone who's good with an expiring deal going into next season, might be the second best option. That allows you to deal that one player next summer with picks, but NOT give up guys like White, Queta, or Pritchard whose money would be needed to balance out a big deal. So, instead of White, Pritchard, Reid and picks for Player 'X,' you're instead in position to deal George, a young player or two, and picks for Player 'X.' Make sense? I think so.

A few things I want to see in the #Celtics ' first #NBASummerLeague game: 1. Hugo the offensive focal point. If he balls out, he plays one, maybe two games. 2. Cenac double-double. 3. Mitchell playing point forward. 4. Wiggins playing tough defense.
