@BlackstarXXI Sure, other arbitrary numbers [5000/20,000] could have worked. But LL chose 10,000 and it became the meta. One could also argue that V1's were the first PFP in Web3

@NFTStoryteller Not really. The 10,000 image ownership rules are set offchain and have no provable relation to the onchain punk indexes. Cryptopunks are all just numbers.

@Cryptopathic In some essence v1 punks are more punk and represent the crypto ethos much more than the cabal gatekept v2 version This is the start of a rebellion against the establishment
