at the airport in el paso started writing a few longer thoughts on marfa and @artblocks_io weekend this first photo here was snapped by @artonblockchain while we were on the phone with @magey_mage the three of us were running a small prototype from snowfro's upcoming LIFT 1/1 before his exhibition (a new, unreleased artwork he's been building over the last few months) just having fun, behind schedule, lost in the set up love this moment, so i'll use it as the vehicle to share my gratitude for everyone this week first, @magey_mage. for the last few months, madison has spent most of her waking hours building the @glitchmarfa programming for AB Weekend this year although madison could only join us via phone/video this week, there was a thread to everything we put out in marfa this year because the details had been considered by her for months prior without fail, every AB weekend, she is the heartbeat of glitch knowing she wouldn't be able to make the weekend, another one of madison's thoughtful decisions was to bring on her close friend maria sutherland (@riasuth), a killer producer who served as our on the ground director this week. she and madison worked closely during the week to make sure everything turned around quickly, and every detail, across every exhibition, was implemented with the highest quality bar have to also shout out my good friend @MaggiRichmond, who helped bring to life a number of the more complex exhibitions at glitch this week. i’ve been lucky enough to get to know maggi and attend a dozen of her events over the last few years, and she was the first person madison and i thought of to help us design, plan, and bring to life the final LIFT exhibition with snowfro this week she’s one of my all-time favs huge thank you to @maltefr_eth, who brings an incredible lens for art history and strong curatorial eye around all the exhibitions we put out this weekend. everything is sharper because of him, no question i hold his work product in my highest regards, and i’m v grateful for his friendship also grateful for my business partner on too many projects to count at this point (@sbmckeon) who spent the last year turning our kitchen and back side of the building we purchased together four years ago into a now awesome bar the bar is called 'otherside' otherside has become a killer space, largely because of him, his wife michelle, and my COO @zackrosenblatt. personally, the kitchen and bar has also become my calm during the weekend's storm, a place to hang, rest, connect, drink, and a great event space in and of itself (as seen by this week’s killer talks/shows/exhibitions featuring @0000ALCI, @0xFAR, @ChrisF_0x, @Fountainxyz). otherside is now open year round, so make sure to stop in on your next trip to marfa have to also give flowers to zack my collab+currency COO @zackrosenblatt_ is one of our secret weapons at glitch. he is always hustling from the first crate to the last cable, keeping everything moving. everyone involved knows how important zack has been to the success of both collab+currency and our work in marfa every year grateful for all our volunteers this year, including @goku_NFT, @harriet_waghorn, @im_jonooo, @overminn, Martina, Jordan, Holly, Taylor, Jack, Joe, Cole, delanoy, @benroy, @akasteveyyy thank you for the energy, the help, the heart ♥️ tried to convey this to each of you while out in I've been on Bittensor for a while now and it's almost like there's a subnet or project for everything you can think of Some of the most beautiful use cases Is it prediction market? We've got @sportstensor and @MANTISBittensor The list goes on........ But I recently came across ALCI (@0000ALCI) the first digital art collection built on the Bittensor blockchain, a project that turns AI intelligence into unique 3D artworks. Explored their platform today and it's beautiful ALCI’s creators began with 256 base 3D objects, called Seeds. Each seed belongs to a theme and a category. So, 256 total objects across multiple themes and categories. Each object was created using Subnet-17 (@404gen_), a Bittensor subnet that converts text prompts into 3D objects using advanced AI (called text-to-3D generation). So subnet miners earn rewards for improving these 3D generation models Here's how to get started 1. Visit the official site → alci000.xyz/collection 2. Connect your wallet → use a Web3 wallet compatible with Bittensor EVM (for example, MetaMask configured to Bittensor’s EVM network). 3.
