Kai Havertz was at Bayer Leverkusen for 10 years before leaving to join Chelsea in 2020 😮 He returned to his former club in the Champions League round of 16 and slotted away a penalty to deny then what would've been a huge win over Arsenal 😳

@Bambikafanpage @citizentvkenya Watching from Mbale, Uganda. I'm team love. You can love everything but you can only respect living things! Team Respect, listen to yourself say "I respect Gloria's songs"! Vs Team love's saying "I love Gloria's songs".

The @USAID-supported LPHS-E Activity participated in the #ElgonMarathon, raising awareness on critical issues like #GBV and #ClimateChange. Staff joined the race across multiple categories. Alongside running, they offered HIV/TB and GBV screening services, underscoring the importance of accessible healthcare. This involvement highlighted @USAID’s commitment to addressing #GBV and climate impacts and strengthened ties with local communities by promoting wellness and health awareness. Through efforts like these, the LPHS-E Activity fosters resilience and advocates for healthier, more equitable societies. #ElgonMarathon2024

ICYMI: Learning and Adaptation of Good Practices: @USAID LPHS-E hosted other partners, including LPHS-EC, LPHS-K, UHA, OVC and district staff, at a two-day Quality Improvement learning event focused on discussing how to use community interventions to improve antenatal care visit indicators. The teams visited Malaba HC IV to observe and adopt best practices for improving the performance of the indicator mentioned above.

Baylor Foundation Uganda is proud to participate in the #TBConference2024 under the theme “Advancing Multisectoral and Multistakeholder Engagement and Accountability to End TB and Achieve Zero Leprosy in Uganda.” We are committed to integrating resources to enhance TB screening and treatment outcomes across all activities. 💪 #EndTB Keynote speaker Dr. @TerezaKasaeva , Director of @WHO Global TB Programme, inspired us all! 🎉 We're thrilled to announce that 4 districts supported by our @USAID LPHS-E project—Bulambuli, Butebo, Kween, and Pallisa—ranked among the top 10 best-performing districts nationally in #TB indicators. Kudos to local health teams and @MinofHealthUG for driving innovation! 🙌 The Electronic Case-Based Surveillance System (eCBSS). This real-time tool has transformed TB case tracking in these districts, ensuring better data recording, monitoring and reporting. Together, we are strengthening health systems for lasting impact in Uganda. 🌟 #HealthInnovation

WE'VE ACHIEVED IT ONCE MORE: Baylor Foundation Uganda actively supports quality management systems across 25 laboratory hubs located in four health regions: Fort Portal (7 hubs), Mubende (6 hubs), Bunyoro (6 hubs), and Mbale (6 hubs). We are happy to report that mmong these, 15 laboratories have successfully maintained international accreditation through the South African National Accrediation System @SABSApproved (SANAS). Additionally, three laboratories recently applied for accreditation and achieved success, further strengthening the network of high-standard diagnostic services. The three new entrant laboratory hubs that have been recommended for international accreditation are located in the Local Partner for Health Services (LPHS-E) region. These are Busolwe, Kapchorwa, and Bududa. @DKiragga, @TCHGlobalHealth, @cphluganda

Limping on to 1st season harvest in our Kaplopotwo farm - all of it 100% remote managed. Flip side of remote farming- you incur twice the normal cost meaning you only stick to it for reasons beyond monetary profit. indigenous know how is priceless #InvestinSmallfarmers

“Marriage doesn’t cure lust, if it does adultery wouldn’t exist. Self-control is still a requirement. Lust doesn’t care if you are married or single. You may be Solomon in wisdom or David in praise or Abraham in faith or Joshua in war but if you are not Joseph in discipline, you will end up like Samson in destruction.” Nelson Mandela
