Tonight I had the honor of hearing a beautiful talk from Daniel S. Loeb, founder of Third Point LLC, the $21B New York–based investment firm. Daniel shared his journey,from building a world-class investment career to experiencing a powerful Jewish awakening later in life. He spoke about putting on tefillin daily, learning Torah, and thoughtfully answered questions across a wide range of topics. This took place at a weekly Torah program on the Upper West Side in Manhattan where ~100 young Jewish professionals from across New York City come together to learn Torah, share a beautiful dinner, and hear from inspiring Jewish leaders across industries.

As many of you know, I’ve had a love/hate relationship with the Cybertruck for the past 6 years… ever since it was revealed. Well, after owning it for 3 months, I couldn’t love this truck much more. The only thing I wish is that I could ride it in High Mode (like in the video below) all the time so I could still use FSD and have the safety features. But currently, when I park, it goes into High Mode and then drops into Medium at over 25mph. So I guess it’s a compromise for now. This truck is so much better than I thought it would be. It’s like a fungus, it just grows and grows on you. It’s so useful and practical, it makes other trucks seem silly. Even though it looks crazy, the utility of it as a truck is great. Thank you @elonmusk, Franz, @wmorrill3 and the whole @tesla team for making the Tesla Utility Vehicle, known as the @cybertruck … the most American made truck! 🇺🇸🫡

I am going to seek approval from the board of Pershing Square Holdings— in which I and my family own 23% of the shares—to eliminate its listing on the @euronext Amsterdam exchange. The board had been considering the move because our second listing on the @LSEplc now represents more than 90% of our trading. Events in Amsterdam during the last 24 hours provide an appropriate tipping point for this conclusion. Concentrating the listing on one exchange, the LSE, and leaving a jurisdiction that fails to protect its tourists and minority populations combine both good business and moral principles. We can also save money and improve liquidity for shareholders to boot. I have also begun the conversation with @UMG (on whose board I sit) which is domiciled in Amsterdam as well as listed there, about moving its domicile and its listing to the United States, which will offer similar as well as other highly material benefits. Pershing Square has a contractual right to cause UMG to be listed in the US. We will exercise this right and achieve a US listing for UMG no later than some time next year. UMG trades at a large discount to its intrinsic value with limited liquidity in significant part due to it not having its primary listing on the @NYSE or @NasdaqExchange and not being eligible for S&P 500 and other index inclusion. We are going to fix this. Now is a good and appropriate time to do so.
