@TRA__05 Yeah. Copeland compensated for his lack of away-from-the-rim scoring about as well as you possibly can. I think some of these teams settled into drop coverage with minimal help though. At least UVA and Texas. He was 10/26 in those two.

UVA got the funding, but Odom did a fantastic job putting together the pieces. Similar to State in $ and has 4 losses vs 13. Really impressive job building a well-rounded roster.

I promise not to tweet about this all year, but Andrew Wiggins started the season w/a 2B, HR, 2 BB, has the highest OPS this season, the highest career wRC+ (266 PAs) with plenty of spots to get him in the lineup and was immediately put in witness protection. Alright man.

I don't have a take on this branding stuff, but hopefully it puts to bed certainty that Wade would never leave. State can't act like they have nothing to worry about. Wade will have suitors each offseason and many of them with more money. State has to be proactive in every detail

It cannot be overstated how nonsensical this last round of conference realignment was.
It hurt the sport. The fans didn't want it. It makes no sense. And now the CFP format is off-center as a result of the Pac-12 not existing.

Texas A&M could make SEC champ game w/o playing Ole Miss, Bama, UGA, OU, Vandy. GTech could make ACC title game w/o playing Miami, Lville, UVA, SMU, Duke. Ohio St could make B1G title game w/o playing Oregon, Indiana, Iowa, USC. This is not a good way to determine a champion.
