Yep s3, hemp ban, seeds being included in the ban. Makes sense only problem for them is we are too solid of a niche... breeders, seedbanks, and homegrowers. MSO weed sucks and their scene is full of lames. Some of the smaller "hemp" brands were fire but even their niche has a lot of drama and hemps over anyways. It's going to be on us to keep our subculture thriving

Now that Sched 3 is coming, watch as they try to push home growers out. Its the next step as they dig deeper to be prepared for a full takeover when federal legalization comes. The people who built cannabis culture are often excluded from the legal industry.

Legalization shouldn’t just mean corporate dominance. It should mean opportunity for small growers, legacy operators, and people who carried the culture through prohibition.

State by state closing the door on hemp farmers while handing the industry to corporate players with licensing fees normal people can’t afford. End of an era.

Most of the $msos/Schedule 3 people don't even consume marijuana and never have, this is purely money driven for them, and they really believe that without them, marijuana wouldn't exist or be available. This is why many of them are specifically trying to keep home growing illegal, home growers/drug dealers/cartels=same same to them.

Cannabis prohibition was never about safety. It was about control.

@dirtyhippie77 Some of the big multi state cannabis retailers have a lot of money. Even Amazon is poking around in the cannabis market. I think the fed is just waiting for them to get their infrastructure in place to lock out smaller competitors.

@NYFutureFarming I hope not but considering our gov frowns upon small food farms it’s likely. But they did just rule for alcohol production at home so maybe there is hope.

IMO THC percentage is one of the most overrated metrics in cannabis. Terpenes, cannabinoids, and how they interact matter way more than chasing the highest number.

@marijuanacomau Here we do it with lobbyists buying politicians. Some of the cannabis corporations here are insane with money and power already.

Turn on any TV channel - you'll see an ad for alcohol. Cannabis can barely use a bank.
