The NYPD Cricket Team was founded in 2010 to bring officers from across the department together. The team's members, many of them of South Asian descent, compete against other agencies and help give back to the community. #AAPIHeritageMonth

Officer Ahmad Chohan came to the US at age 14 from Pakistan 🇵🇰 & joined the NYPD in 2004. He started out in the @NYPD115Pct & now works in my office on #NeighborhoodPolicing and is also president of the @NYPDCricketClub. This #AAPIHeritageMonth, let's honor all Asian officers.
