@aishik_boxi7 @RBR_Daily We want to see the cars on the edge of grip. Not on the edge of battery usage. Because of the super clipping they slow down so much that 130R is easy flat-out, so all the thrill of fast corners is taken out of the sport because it is more efficient to charge in Highspeed corners.

@RBR_Daily Still the lap times are just about 1.5 sec slower than the lap times from last year. Last year was about 4 years deep into ground-effect regulations and this is just the 3rd race of new regulations. The lap times will improve even more as drivers adapt so will be even faster.

@ehrnnd @amrf1insights If you stop pedalling, you are basically engaging the clutch. It doesn't matter what other force gets applied to you, the amount of rotations on the pedals doesn't change how far you get. If you have a headwind it just increases the effort, but not rotations.

@ehrnnd @amrf1insights The engine and tyres are physically linked. It doesn't matter what force gets applied to it. Just think of it like the pedals and back tyre on a bicycle. If you are pedalling, and turn the pedals 1 full rotation, the back tyre will always spin the exact same amount. (1/2)

ℹ️ PU settings, weight, drag, etc play a factor but let's do some maths with the Honda PU: At 10891 rpm the speed was 315KM/H At 11000 rpm the speed was 318KM/H This means: 109 rpm = ~3KM/H Expected speed at 12086 rpm - 346KM/H. Yesterday RedBull hit 344 KM/H at 12086 rpm

@ehrnnd @amrf1insights Speed and revs actually can't increase in anything other than a linear way except for if the clutch is engaged or slipping. With the same gear ratio (same gear selected) the car will always be going the exact same speed at the same revs, that is a fact.

@Simon_Hypixel 1. Food should heal more instantly and less over time 2. Place torches or blocks from the offhand slot (offhand items should stay except if two-handed weapons are in the main hand) 3. I think it's a bug: dropped items (ores) get stuck on the side of blocks 4. higher pickup range

@WJacky101 If you put 500 bucks (PGC prizepool was around 7.8x that of TPP tourn.) on the line for each kill during PGC that will also make the players more aggressive. It is not a fair comparison.

@WJacky101 Putting an extra 100 bucks on kills on top of the smaller prize pool for the actual placement in the tournament, makes it so that of course the players will be aggressive and go for kills. As getting more kills can make a significant impact on the amount of prize money you get.

@NazzGB195 @the_zb_ @F1WDC2021 The rules clearly state that it can't be higher than 16.0. Only the test is carried out at ambient temperature, but like every other rule, it is not about passing the test but complying with the rule. Tests can be changed at any point to make sure competitors are in compliance.

This is a pretty simple situation for the FIA. Trying to muddy the waters in this matter is just a sign of politicking. The regulations are clear about the need for compliance at all times regarding compression. Obviously, measurement methodology is the constraint. If there is some direct level of engineering that alters that ratio, it’s illegal. If it is done more subtly through thermal expansion, it is also illegal, as the perception of gray area in the regulation does not actually exist. Again, it’s simply a matter of measurement constraint. If any sort of additional measurement methodology allows them to ascertain that the lines have been crossed, that’s pretty much a slam dunk. There is obviously only one answer in that scenario, and that is to force changes upon the power unit manufacturer/s not in compliance. If the rumors are true, and this is the methodology adopted by Mercedes and Red Bull, they should reap the logical consequence of having to alter their PU to adopt conformity with the regulations. At whatever cost they incur. That would affect a total of 5 teams, which is still the minority of the 11 teams represented on the 2026 grid. Allowing them to continue with a power unit that is in breach of the regulations, both by the letter of the law and the intent of the regulations, would negatively impact a greater number of teams than it would if the culprits were forced to make last-minute changes to their noncompliant power units, even at great hindrance to their competitiveness. I’m glad we could clear that up. 👍

@MercedesF1_Hub They just need to limit the engines in another way more than the others or allow the others to run their engines differently to make up the difference .

@ShrimzyPUBg @lobier4 They listen and then don't do anything about it. The only thing they listened to was changing the 3 day group stage to a 6 day one for PGC, but that only works with 32 teams. They didn't change that for the PGSs. Not for TPP, panzer, brdm, C4.

@Ferlonso14 @racepluscom I think that it means they are letting the engine rev up during the braking phase and using the mgu-k to use that extra burnt fuel for charging the battery. Basically turning the car into a generator, by applying throttle during braking and mgu-k braking more than no throttle.

🚨 | Mercedes, Red Bull Powertrains and Audi are reportedly exploring a 2026 power-unit concept that uses fuel to generate electrical energy via the MGU-K, helping recharge the battery during lift-off, reduce turbo lag and avoid losing the 355 kW electric output under the new regulations. 📰 @Motorsport_IT

@NikTek The reason Nvidia cutting gaming gpu production is to have more for ai gpu production. AMD can win more in the gaming gpu space but that isn't as profitable as the ai space. If they do go for growth in the gaming sector and the AI bubble bursts they can win relatively big I guess

Nvidia is cutting gaming GPU production 30-40% for 2026. This means that AMD has the perfect opportunity to gain market share as Nvidia GPUs will skyrocket in price and AMD GPUs could sell way more GPUs if they keep the prices at MSRP. But all we know how AMD never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity and I have a feeling that AMD will still capitalize on this the worst way possible

@PUBGEsports The esports wasn't growing so they are trying something new. It might work, it might not. But abandoning the majority of your current esports scene with 1 change is not the right way of going forwards imo. If it works, I'm happy for them, but I can't stand the wall-licking.

@pattrick_36 @chengrANK @PUBGEsports 12 tournaments each a week long. If they are increasing the amount of total games. Why don't they actually make bigger tournaments. PUBG needs more games to balance out the randomness. But I guess they actually want the randomness so that other teams win.

NOW IT'S OFFICIAL @PUBGEsports is going TPP from 2026 onwards, to "align playing PUBG and watching PUBG Esports experiences together" With that, PGS will be expanded to be a four series of three week-long tournaments. PNC returns late June, and 2026 season will end with PGC in December. Not confirmed yet, but calendar hints at EWC in July and ENC in November.
