Where is Lisa Su? $AMD

The second more interesting bit was around the Fab 34, and the recent stake buyout from Apollo. "As of March 28, 2026 we were required to substantially complete construction of Fab 34 in accordance with contractual parameters and timelines or we would be required to pay delay-related liquidated damages to Apollo, the other investor, beginning in the second half of 2026, not to exceed $1.1 billion in total" "Since December 28, 2024, we expected certain construction milestones for Fab 34 would be delayed as we refined our near-term production capacity requirements and related capital outlays relative to those that are required per the Ireland SCIP agreement." So, a potentially $1.1 billion delay-related payment to Apollo by Intel was imminent, provided that Fab 34 is being developed under a delayed timeline. But, Intel solved this by entirely buying out the Apollo stake worth $14.2 billion, which was a move that has put pressure on Intel's balance sheet, and could potentially force them to reach out to capital markets, sooner than expectations.

The top 1% of New Yorkers already pay for 46% of all income taxes collected... The bottom 50%, pay absolutely nothing.

The leaked 12.9" budget MacBook at $699 will eat the PC market alive. There are literally no usable premium PC laptops in that price range. This will be a huge hit for people who just want a computer for browsing, school and typing.
