I’ve recently had a lot of weird cruel comments from people calling me a clown because I sold out of $BLOX and $GIAX and now I’m back in. Let’s clear something up. I never bashed either fund. I protected my capital because I wasn’t sure they’d recover. Anyone who’s been in high income ETFs long enough has seen what happens when NAV erosion starts with some funds. They never come back. I publicly said if they recovered and proved strength again, I’d buy back in. They did. So I did. That’s called adjusting to new information like an investor with a brain… not marrying a ticker like a cult member. And let’s not forget, some of you wouldn’t even know some these ETFs existed without my voice and others talking about them in the first place. Most people weren’t sure about GIAX until they saw my position and me speaking about it. There’s a reason fund managers are in my DMs and not yours. 🤷‍♀️ My money. My strategy. Cry harder. You little Betches. 🤌🖕✌️

Dementia is a terrible disease. My dad had dementia, and I brought him to Louisville to live with me. He also had physical disabilities from years working blacktop, driving trucks, and not taking care of himself. He was sweet to me 99% of the time while I cared for him. But the dementia occasionally made him volatile, even violent. Once, he pushed me and I fell through a doorway, breaking my foot. Later that day, when he saw me in a cast on crutches, he had no memory of what happened. He worried about me, unsure if I had been in an accident or if someone had hurt me. I lied and told him I had tripped and fallen. If he knew he had hurt me, he would have been utterly heartbroken. I honestly think he would have tried to hurt himself. He never knew what happened. Eventually, I could no longer care for him at home—no one could. He was falling too much and refused to use his walker or wheelchair. He went to a nursing home. It wasn’t awful, and he even made a friend there. But every time I visited, he would cry and say everyone had forgotten him and no one had come to see how he was doing. He said he was lonely and didn’t want to be there anymore. Seeing my dad weep like a child was brutal. But he was wrong. He did have visitors, but he didn’t remember anyone coming. Dementia stole those memories from him. That’s what makes dementia so awful. He was loved, but he didn’t remember how much he was loved by so many of us. He passed away in November of 2024. This is me & my Dad.

The law of detachment isn’t some magical spell. It’s actually the mindset you need to win in the market. Too many people see a tiny gain in their stock and freak out. They sell for small profit and think there is no way they can make even more. They don’t believe they can become a millionaire. On the other hand, many put money in a stock and watch it’s every move and lose their minds on the dips. Detach. Have confidence in your decisions. Let things play out. I’m infamous for posting my million dollar losses in a day and saying I don’t give 2 flying Fks. It’s because I don’t. I have confidence in my decisions and let things play out. Last time I posted about a 2 mill loss in days…saying it’s not a big deal. Days later I was up $3.9 mill If I sold on every dip, or sold on every bump, I’d crater my account quickly. Even if I had the right stock. Mindset is so underrated. Pick the right stock and have the wrong mindset, you will still lose. Detach and win.
