@PalmyrPar The issue with master/apprenticeship learning methods is that its ridiculously nepotistic. With college/school its slightly less in theory. Neither is ideal, so let's not act like either are ideal.

There are a ridiculous amount of professions that obviously should’ve been kept to master/apprentice learning methods rather than transferred to the university structure.

@sull1vannolan @PalmyrPar There was still licensing and regulations under master/apprentice systems. Not all could be masters (really few actually). Not as catching up or some late development, the Guilds in the Middle Ages could get ridiculous with that stuff.

@MrCasey62 One of the many reasons I converted to Catholicism. It always turned out the Church had sufficiently addressed every issue hundreds of years earlier. Every complaint from Protestants was either due to a total misrepresentation or insufficient study.

@EveKeneinan @qwertius Is God simple and partless or does he have quantifiable attributes? Is Truth platonic and apart from God or does God = truth? Could God have had a different nature? If not, what mechanism curtails that? If so, then isn’t his nature arbitrary and tautological?

One of the greatest mistakes the modern world ever made was to allow the Left to lock in place a race ideology that holds it as axiomatic that there are no average differences between racial groups. But there are, and nothing could be more evident. Just consider height. Compare Koreans and Kenyans on that index. I saw that expressing the view, almost certainly true, that different human populations also have different average IQs is punishable crime in Belgium. But it is self-evidently bad to criminalize the speaking of the truth.
