Meanwhile, the Syrian army (which has been repeatedly bombed by Israel) is actually trying to stop these tribes from marching on Israel and still getting hit anyway.

Reality check:
Gulf countries hosted U.S. bases, knowing the risks, they’ve done it for decades to deter exactly this kind of Iranian aggression.
Iran did hit some bases hard, but the U.S. & Israel still degraded Iran’s nuclear sites, missile production, and military command in a short campaign.
Trump is already signaling the war is winding down on U.S. terms.
Iran's bleeding economically and militarily.
The IRGC chain of command is in tatters, while China and Russia have failed to make any meaningful contribution.
Taiwan should learn the opposite lesson: Relying on a strong, decisive U.S. that projects power is a lot smarter than hoping Beijing will play nice if you’re defenseless.
