@NanaGilbertB @odd_joel I have, but you have to plan for it If I could just grab any of my sessions, that would be amazing But you need to set everything up to use it before you leave

I don’t like mobile Claude code cause it doesn’t have the same global Claude.md as my desktop. So keeps making recommendations that are in my global. Has anyone solved for this? Usually what I’m using mobile for is when I have some free time on the toilet. I feed it some GitHub’s I’ve seen recommended and ask if it will help my deployment, build and technical stack. I know I could use remote, but most of these are not preplanned They’re just open windows of time that I find

@odd_joel All right, I suppose I have to move to SSH I’ve been putting it off. I suppose it’s time.

@mediaking I have some software I built a long time ago, free open source (very) side project. The last major piece t make it truly useful is the integration that links conversions to individual subscribers.

Consulting update: Have had five calls so far. All people trying to build media companies of various kinds. Most common problem is attribution tracking ("how do I know what traffic sources are sending good subscribers?). Someone should build a version of HYROS for the digital media space.

@steventey @dubdotco Congrats @steventey and team. Based on my past experience, I believe it will be your biggest revenue product very soon! Continue to build tooling that helps partners know what’s driving sales so they can do more of it, and watch the chart go up even faster.

@marcospereeira @dmwlff It’s there. But make sure you’re on the most recent version of the cli and extension. I had the same problem, I was using the bun version of Claude code and removed it because it wasn’t updating correctly.

why no /usage command in VSCode extension? more than missing a command, this means you guys are not using a generic implementation for exposing commands in the extension, so for every new command or subcommand we may have a delay between release and it being exposed in the extension

We're launching a new model and v2 of Claude Code today. The CLI has some great new features and our VS Code plugin is so good, I'm questioning my life choices. But the real story here is Sonnet 4.5.

I haven't written more than maybe a few dozen lines of code myself since I started at OpenAI. Excited for that to go to 0.

@NanaGilbertB Yep, at least for approval. AI is reviewing more and more of our code now too.

💯. We set up access to Claude Code for everyone at Kit. The first 3 engineers to use it demonstrated clear value on their first day. Exciting, but the fact that it was that easy made it clear that we’re behind. Not for long…
David Cramer@zeeg

In addition we're pushing a narrative globally in EPD: "everyone builds AI". Its just API calls, and there's too much FUD around it. That means showing people what technologies are, getting them over the hurdle that its no different than any other technology.

@brendanrc2 Oh yes that makes sense to empower more people to ship. I’m assuming code reviews would still be handled by engineering for now?

@NanaGilbertB All have access, but it’s mostly used by engineers right now. I do see a clear path to brining more contributors: designers making updates directly, marketers updating copy, etc. Especially when combined with Codespaces where it’s easy for everyone to spin up a dev environment.

@rafalwilinski It’s quite cool! I’d like to see it available for users on the Max plan. Last time I checked, it was API only.

am I the last one on this platform to learn that you can use Claude Code via Github Actions and just vibecode on your phone using Github app???

@SeanODowd15 As long as it’s within TOS, a regular bot or browser automation could likely work just as well.

What is the best AI tool to use my computer screen? For example: every time we offer on a home, we get a property tax forecast estimate from a company called SiteXPro I'd like an AI to: -Automatically launch -Go to SitexPro -Input address -Buy $3.25 report on property tax -input that value into a cell on a spreadsheet

I built an MCP server boilerplate* for vibe coders to launch paid tools in less than 20 minutes - hosted free on cloudflare - stripe for payments - google or github user login - easy to set up * it's $25 if you want it: mcpboilerplate.com

@mediaking The other problem with work emails. They are not permanent and are more likely to have bot click issues.

At the Newsletter Conference, it was suggested to change your email opt-in field to "Work email address" instead of "Your email address". So, I tested it. Opt-in rates dropped 17%. Test every best practice, because not every best practice applies to your audience.

In simple terms, if you’re a founder looking to build MCP solutions, I think you’d build a billion $ company faster and easier working on a client vs building an MCP server.
