They never do. I've said for years that almost nobody in Nigeria has experienced actual love before, whether male or female. Not from their romantic partners, not from their family, not even from their parents. It's all an unhealthy soup of unprocessed emotions, theatre performance and the worst kind of unbridled capitalism. Nigerian relationships are characterised by a lot of things. Things like Desire. Lust. Dependency. Codependency. Convenience. Need. Force. Love is unfortunately not one of them.

Luiz Enrique can tweak formation & confuse opponents like he did last night but their major strengths are their wings - RB/RW & LB/LW. Their counterattacking football is the most potent in Europe & a big worry for Arsenal's RB department. Arsenal wingers must tame Hakimi & Nuno Mendes.

He stole $245 million, fled to Nigeria, and believed he would evade justice. He was mistaken. When Xu Qing fled China on 5 November 2024, he believed Nigeria would shield him from the consequences of a Ponzi scheme that harmed hundreds of investors. He underestimated the efforts of INTERPOL NCB Abuja. Through sustained intelligence and surveillance operations, authorities located him at a factory in Olowotedo, Siun Village, Ogun State. He was arrested on 24 April 2026 and repatriated to China on 28 April 2026. He was charged with large-scale illegal absorption of public deposits through a fraudulent scheme valued at over $245 million. These funds were stolen from individuals through deliberate deception. The Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc (+), NPM, emphasises that Nigeria will not serve as a refuge for fugitives. No individual, domestic or foreign, will find safe harbor here. He also urges Nigerian businesses to carry out thorough background checks before engaging foreign nationals. Due diligence is crucial. Justice extends beyond borders, and so does the commitment of the Force.

NPF ARRESTS, REPATRIATES $245 MILLION PONZI SCHEME SUSPECT TO CHINA The Nigeria Police Force, through the INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) Abuja, has successfully arrested and repatriated a Chinese fugitive, Xu Qing, to the People’s Republic of China to face charges related to large-scale illegal absorption of public deposits through a Ponzi scheme. The repatriation followed a formal request from Chinese authorities, who declared the suspect wanted in Beijing for his alleged involvement in a financial fraud scheme estimated at over Two Hundred and Forty-Five Million United States Dollars ($245,000,000). Investigations revealed that the suspect fled China to Nigeria on 5th November 2024 in an attempt to evade arrest, following which a warrant was issued against him on 12th November 2025 by the Shinan Sub-Bureau of Qingdao Public Security. Acting on intelligence and sustained surveillance operations, operatives of INTERPOL NCB Abuja successfully tracked and arrested the fugitive at a factory located in Olowotedo, Siun Village, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State on 24th April 2026 after which the suspect was repatriated to the People’s Republic of China on 28th April 2026 through bilateral police cooperation arrangements to face prosecution for the offences. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to strengthening international cooperation in the fight against transnational organised crime. The IGP further advised Nigerian employers and business entities to conduct due diligence, including background checks through the police, before engaging foreign nationals in business or employment relationships. The Nigeria Police Force remains resolute in its commitment to combating transnational crime and ensuring that Nigeria does not serve as a safe haven for fugitives. My cousin has been in Canada for six years. Every month, money lands in my aunt's account. School fees, house rent, his younger ones' upkeep. Everybody calls him the family's blessing. He called last Christmas. Laughing and asking about everyone. He sounded fine. I asked: "How are you doing over there?" He said: "I'm managing. Canada is good o." He visited two years ago. We killed a goat. The whole family came out. He was smiling in every photo. Nobody noticed he had lost weight. I noticed. But I didn't say anything. I thought maybe it was the cold. Last month, his friend called my aunt. Said my cousin had not been eating well. That some months he sends everything and keeps nothing. That he cries sometimes. Alone at night. That he had been doing this for years. My aunt was quiet for a long time. Then she said: "But he never said anything." ... Well, he never said anything. Because nobody ever asked beyond "how is Canada?"

I would never try to harm anyone’s business. God forbid. I just shared my experience the exact way it happened & how it came to my mind to post. At first the reactions seemed normal and funny, but when I saw that it could be taken differently, I got concerned and reached out to him immediately 🙏 I’m really sorry if it caused any harm, that was never my intention❤️🫂

1. Social services would have taken that child away from him for a long time. Both himself and the mother recording him won’t see the child again. 2. Banned from driving for as long as possible. 3. Arrested. These are the people in our faces, the people always in our media, see how they lead their lives, see how they put us out there as lawless people.

This NGO serves as a Police station (for crime response), EFCC (for economic and financial crimes, a.k.a if them scam you) and the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs (for social interventions). So basically a parallel government. This arrangement should not exist in a healthy nation. But make no mistake: Nigeria is working according to plan with people like VDM. These guys are not anti-establishment as they would have believe. They are establishment proxies, used to advance a reduced state intervention agenda. It’s part of a broader neoliberal scheme. He does the same job as religious leaders, which is to present you with the illusion that you can make it without the involvement of your government. But in reality, you simply cannot. No nation serious about the well-being of its population operates with limited state intervention. None. You can go from China to Vietnam. None. Individuals or corporations should never be handed such powers. But of course, trust Nigerians to never see the bigger picture.

CONTROVERSIAL TEXTBOOK: PARENTS OF NURSERY SCHOOL PUPIL PETITIONS LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT, NERDC We wish to confirm in the public interest, and for the sake of transparency, that we have formally petitioned the @followlasg through the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, against the use of the controversial textbook titled: ENGLISH LANGUAGE FOUNDATION FOR NURSEY SCHOOLS, authored by one Mr. Ayengbe Ebhohimen JB, We have equally petitioned the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council. The petitions are at the instance of Mrs. Mary Queen Udoka who was targeted by the police and her husband. They bought the book from a school in Ojo, Lagos for their 5-year-old Nursery 2 son. In the petitions, we are demanding that the government should immediately probe the suitability of the book and take necessary regulatory and disciplinary measures to safeguard Nigerian children. We are pleased that the Lagos State Government has swiftly responded by making a preliminary statement to the effect that the controversial textbook was not approved for use by schools in Lagos. In our petitions, we disclosed the name of the particular school where the book was sold to our clients. We have also informed the government that following public outrage, the said school has withdrawn the book from its shelves and taken steps to conceal its complicity. We have provided the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education and the NERDC with copies of the controversial book to aid the investigations. Our clients are going to cooperate fully with the investigations. People must be held accountable. Thank you.
