@SouthernRailUK Good morning. I need to claim delay repay for a trip yesterday. I had a return paper ticket that the ticket barrier kept at the end of the journey. How do I claim delay repay without the ticket please? 🙏

@SouthernRailUK Hi. I did it online and it gave me a collection reference which I then showed at the ticket office who printed out the ticket. It means I don’t have a ticket number to enter on the delay repay form

The problem with reporting who signed new contracts and for how long is that it spoils the "maybe/maybe not" tension around a character's fate. Since that was one that fans speculated to die, it's now spoiled.🤦

I am deeply saddened to hear about the stabbings in Huntingdon. My thoughts go out to all those affected. Two suspects have been immediately arrested and taken into custody. I am receiving regular updates on the investigation. I urge people to avoid comment and speculation at this early stage.

@MartinSLewis I have. The only part that was a nuisance was having to go to the job centre with evidence. Everything else was simple. I did declare the new details the day after I received that month’s payment though so I had a few weeks to ensure it was sorted in case of any issues

Have you switched bank account while on Universal Credit? If so how did it go? I've had one report that UC make it tricky when you're giving them the new bank info. I wanted to check whether this was isolated incident or is more widespread.

Yesterday I shared 2 posts referring to what was supposedly a cross-sex identified boy being paraded on stage during a rock show. It has been brought to my attention that this child is actually a girl with no identity confusion. I have deleted my posts & am deeply sorry for not verifying the claim before sharing.

🧵 1 / When two worlds collide… 😬😆 I just landed at Edinburgh Airport, fancied a hot chocolate so popped into Costa Coffee near the exit. They charge £5.50 for a hot chocolate!!! 😮 But I really fancied one so thought “What the hell!” ☕️😋 Find myself a seat in a corner somewhere. Next to me a young woman with lots of luggage is working on her laptop. A thud. A splash. A scream. She’s just kicked the table, knocked over her iced vanilla latte and it’s all over the table, the floor and her light beige skirt. The cup is completely empty. She bursts into tears. “That’s the last thing I need right now!” she sobs A woman gets up to help. I go to the counter to get tissues, and they give me one of those big rolls of blue paper. I go back and start mopping the table while the other woman hugs her and tries to calm her down, which seems to work a little. A staff member comes to mop the floor and gets her a new iced latte. The other woman leaves and says “I hope the rest of your day will be smooth!” in a thick Scottish accent. I love how the Scots say “smuth” She’s still very tearful and on edge. Her phone rings. “Who’s phoning me now???” It’s a friend so she gets to let off some steam. She laughs, she cries. Turns out she got to Edinburgh AirPort only to realise she was meant to fly from Glasgow, so had to rebook, spend lots of extra money and wait around for 3 hrs She finishes the call, then thanks me for helping her out. Asks me where I’m from. “The Netherlands” I say. “That’s where I’m going!” There’s a human right conference she’s meant to be attending in an old university town (my dad’s old stomping ground) as she’s doing a PhD in socio-economic rights (eg right to healthcare and education). “That’s different from civil rights” she says. So we get to talking about that and how certain European-wide legal frameworks have been adopted into domestic law in the U.K. for civil rights but not for socio-economic rights and how Scotland also has its own legal system So I mention the Scottish government pushing through ‘self-ID’ and Westminster saying “No thank you!” and blocking it, and also the Supreme Court ruling “That ruling contradicts itself so much” she says

The troubling stories continue to roll in. I have been contacted by a mother whose 13-year-old child was given a 5 day suspension for refusing to refer to a male teacher who wears dresses as ‘Miss’.

I’m receiving in more concerning stories from parents and teachers, including of ‘non-binary’ teachers who routinely hand out detentions if students don’t call them ‘Mx’ and use their preferred pronouns. This is abuse of power.
