The Archbishop of Canterbury has said that legalising DIY abortions up to the point of birth is “legally, morally, and practically complex”. It isn’t ‘complex’. It’s WRONG. Killing a 39 week old baby is morally indefensible. No Christian should find that hard to say.

The core of a moral panic is that the public concern is vastly in excess of the actual threat. Satanic Panic was a moral panic because kids were never actually being killed in day care centres. Boys in girls sports is a real policy from the dems. They make the argument that they are small in numbers - but even if so, it doesn't turn the concern into a "moral panic". If we were to find that a small sliver of our elite had become part of a child castrating cult and every year they castrated around 100 children - the fact that the number is not a million doesn't mean great concern and news coverage about this cult is unwarranted. In the context of castrating children, 100 is a lot. In the context of allowing male bodies play with girls, and have access to their changing rooms, 100 is a lot too.

Correct. There is a US bill to establish a Museum of Women's History at the Smithsonian. It was very bipartisan. Republicans in Congress amended the bill to clarify that men don't count as women. Democrats withdrew support.

I think one thing is that the older or adult transsexuals, the transmedicalists, didn't need to fight for rights. We already had them. It had already generally been accepted by society for decades, a societal contract, that certain rare men could through gatekeeping transition socially and medically and be allowed to change their birth certificate and be recognized legally as their identified gender. That allowed us all the rights to access female spaces as necessary because we didn't have a penis and assimilated as women. We weren't fetishists. This changed when transition shifted to minors. When trans kids in high school wanted access to bathrooms.
