@mitchellvii Again, quit talking about it and just do it! It will be a bombshell when the President signs it into law. Until then it’s just theater.

𝗖𝗢𝗗𝗜𝗙𝗬 𝗘𝗫𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦! - Rep. Anna Paulina Luna just dropped a massive bombshell: House Republicans are gearing up to turn 81 of President Trump's executive orders into permanent federal law. No more easy reversals by some future radical regime! Luna: "We’re delivering REAL wins that no future radical administration can undo!" This is the kind of bold, lasting America First action we've been waiting for - locking in the gains so the deep state can't claw them back. It's about making progress unbreakable. Will this finally deliver the permanent changes we need? Thoughts? ⬇️

@BarronTNews_ I asked Grok what has Paul accomplished while in congress. In 15 years he has not really accomplished anything of significance. All the while being a contrarian at best, a clown at worst.

Took the dog to the vet yesterday Golden retriever She ate something in the backyard My wife said "she looks off" I said "she's a dog. She always looks like that." My wife made the appointment anyway Nice office Fish tank in the lobby Every professional I visit has a fish tank The vet came in Looked at the dog for maybe 30 seconds Pressed on her stomach The dog wagged her tail He said "we should run some tests" I said "what kind of tests" He said "bloodwork, X-ray, urinalysis, and an ultrasound" I said "she ate a stick" He said "we want to be thorough" I said "what's the cost" He said "roughly $3,400" For a stick My wife looked at me Not the ceiling this time Directly at me The look that means "if you negotiate the vet bill for our dog I will never speak to you again" I said "run the tests" Fastest approval I've ever given No diligence No second opinion No counter The dog looked at me Tail still wagging She has no idea what anything costs Must be nice They took her to the back We sat in the waiting room for two hours My wife was worried I was calculating the per-minute cost of this visit I didn't say that out loud Therapy taught me that much The vet came back Looked at his chart for 90 seconds He said "good news. Nothing serious. She probably just ate something that didn't agree with her." I said "so she's fine" He said "she's fine" I said "we waited two hours and spent $3,400 to confirm what you suspected when you pressed on her stomach for 30 seconds" He said "we wanted to rule things out" I said "what did you rule out" He said "quite a bit" I said "name one thing" He paused My wife said "we're paying the bill" I said "I know we're paying the bill" The vet recommended a "premium digestive supplement" $89 a month I said no My wife said yes The vet looked at me I looked at the dog The dog was asleep on the floor $3,400 and two hours later and she's the most relaxed one in the room We paid In the car my wife said "you were going to negotiate weren't you" I said "the thought crossed my mind" She said "it's our dog" I said "I know. That's why I didn't." She looked at me I looked at the road The dog was in the backseat Head out the window Not a single thought behind those eyes I've never been more jealous of another living thing $3,400 $89/month supplement One stick Non-negotiable Sent from my iPhone

@mattvanswol Scott Adams said the US Healthcare System operates as a Confusopoly. Trump is attempting to counter this by requiring price transparency. But the industry is doing all it can to fight any change.

Nearly a year ago, my wife went to the hospital for stomach pain. They did a CT Scan of her abdomen and thankfully didn't find anything serious. We got a bill in the mail of $9,117.42 I spent months talking to insurance, the hospital, billing appeals... I was told the claim was still processing. I was told the claim was out of the normal service area. I was told it wasn't clear it was medically necessary. I was told the insurance wasn't valid on the date of service. Finally, we got it handled, but it took well over 6 months from the day we got the first bill to the day we finished the process and paid. We did everything right. We have insurance. We pay our insanely high premiums every single month. It's just so frustrating. This whole healthcare system is broken, from top to bottom.

The West must very soon recognize that: 1) All immigrants are not equally likely to assimilate; 2) All immigrants are not equally likely to be a net benefit to the host society; 3) All immigrants are not equally likely to be a net existential danger to the host society; 4) All cultures are not equal; 5) All religions are not equal; 6) A religion that seeks to destroy your society, civilization, religious heritage, and freedoms should not receive protection under the First Amendment; 7) You don't owe it to said religion to capitulate in the name of tolerance, compassion, and suicidal empathy; 8) Our freedoms and liberties are being used to erase our existence. It is time to wake up. Every day that passes without the necessary auto-corrections is ensuring that our children and their children will live in a world that is astoundingly darker than anything that the West has ever known. Have a great week.

If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal. If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist. If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian. If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.

@EdKrassen Not a single person who voted for Trump wishes they would have instead voted for Kamala Harris. Zero. You cannot find them because they do not exist. Every time she opens her mouth, we are reminded how HUGE of a bullet we dodged. I’ve never ever heard someone say otherwise.

How I survive TV and movie WOKENESS: Whenever a black person appears in medieval European history, I turn it off. When the new boss appears and SURPRISE!, it’s a black woman, I turn it off. When the head of every government agency is A WOMAN, I turn it off. When the story introduces an unpleasant black woman, I turn it off. When the woman gives the man a withering stare and he apologizes, I turn it off. When they start introducing female side-stories in a show that’s supposed to be about men, I turn it off. When characters switch to any language other than English for long stretches in an English-language show, I turn it off. When someone tells me their pronouns in the dialogue for no story reason, I turn it off. When climate change or "systemic racism" gets lectured about in a fantasy/sci-fi/historical setting, I turn it off. When the male lead is portrayed as incompetent, toxic, or needing constant correction by women, I turn it off. When they add a "diverse" character who's only there to check boxes and has no personality, I turn it off. When every romantic couple is interracial or same-sex by default, I turn it off. When they rewrite classic stories to make the woman the savior instead of the man, I turn it off. When the man goes to couples counseling or therapy, I turn it off. When the cops/authority figures are all female, I turn it off. When the angry teenage girl curses out her parents, I turn it off. When a woman beats up the male lead in an action movie, I turn it off. Whenever a tiny woman starts fighting—and winning—against a much bigger man, I turn it off. When the female soldier effortlessly takes down the male soldier, I turn it off. These red flags have saved me hours of painful watching and waiting for the story to happen. What angers you enough to stop watching?

@Rep_McBride Sorry but the President is dealing with serious matters. You are not a serious person so your opinion doesn’t carry weight. We need serious people’s input on this issue not from someone who is in pretend mode.

This president appears determined to drag our country into yet another regime change war overseas rather than addressing problems here at home. Whether a full-scale regional war in the Middle East unfolds today or sometime in the future, this president’s shoot-first-ask-questions-later foreign policy inevitably leads to one place in the end: death, destruction, and destabilization. This president routinely shreds both the progress and potential of diplomacy, just as he did when he destroyed the previous Iran nuclear deal. And just as he has done again this weekend, being far too willing to put the lives of American servicemembers at risk when achievable diplomatic and multilateral solutions exist to prevent a nuclear Iran or to secure the human rights of the Iranian people. Military action should be an option of last resort, not your dessert round as you lounge at your personal resort. Through all of this, he has kept the American people — and Congress — in the dark about the realistic plans, potential risks, and true goals of this operation until it is too late. I’ve opposed reckless military action before and do so again, which is why I believe Congress must immediately reconvene to vote on a War Powers Resolution to prevent this administration from pulling us into yet another forever war.
