What's really weird Doris is that there is people here that are convinced that Alberta doesn't support Canada with transfer payments!! I mean the delusion is off the charts!! It is BLACK & WHITE and they will argue. One other thing that REALLY bugged me was the dismal from Pierre P. on Joe Rogan about Alberta independance. I was gob smacked and stopped listening after that. Like buddy read the room. Lead!!! Don't just wipe it away like a black fly. Total loser!

It is harsh but I can understand why someone would think that way. We do have a welfare mentality in Atlantic Canada. Not all but lots. I have never lived or worked in Alberta. The only time I have been was in Calgary when I was flying with the Navy to head to Fleet Dive Unit Pacific.

They're willing to make the sacrifice to leave their family and friends to travel 4500 km away just to make some money to give themselves a better life. I respect that

@DVBobbie @ScottRCarpenter Trust me I get it Doris. New Brunswick sits on at least $200 Billion worth of natural gas but we keep looking for handouts. It makes no sense. I mean we have elections and they are over once Quebec and Ontario is done counting.

It is underrepresentation (NB has 10 senators-AB-6 and 4-5x the population), the equalization formula, the federal regulations of our industry...the list has become unbearably long.

Canada Post moving ahead with end of home delivery They’re “moving ahead” with stopping dead. Henceforth Canada Post will provide one service — parcel delivery — that dozens of other companies do cheaper, faster and better, while refusing to provide another service — home mail delivery — which other companies are statutorily forbidden to provide.
