High intensity exercise can improve cardiorespiratory fitness, reduce cardiovascular risk and provide psychological benefit in individuals with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. However, for these positive effects to have a lasting impact, regular exercise must become a consistent habit. So proud that my PhD work has just been published in EHJ. I've spent almost a decade championing exercise in my ICC patients and am so proud to see this article providing a practical approach to exercise prescription in patients with cardiomyopathies and channelopathies published in @Heart_BMJ today.
