🔥 Story time 🧠 Mystery / Who Did It The party was already filled with family members and close friends, eating, drinking, and chatting in a lively atmosphere. Laughter echoed across the hall, glasses clinked, and soft music played in the background, but beneath the surface, there was tension that could not be ignored. Almost everybody was not happy with the transfer of the company. Chief’s three partners were the worst hit by the decision. They felt betrayed, having been the first employees of the company and having worked tirelessly to build it into what it had become. Now, to be overlooked at such a crucial moment did not sit well with them. Mr Bassey, Mr Jude, and Mr Echu were seen together, drinking and chatting, but their conversations were low and intense, clearly not as carefree as others around them. Mrs Jenny, Chief’s second wife, was also not pleased with the decision. Though she maintained her elegance and composure, quietly sipping her drink and observing the room, there was a storm behind her calm expression. She had expected more, perhaps even control, and this decision was not in her favour. Mr Edu, the first son, sat with a drink in his hand, his face showing clear dissatisfaction. As the eldest, he believed the company should naturally fall into his hands. Watching events unfold before him only deepened his frustration. Not far from him was Mr Obi, distant and withdrawn. His anger toward his father was long-standing, and though he said little, his cold expression spoke volumes. In contrast, Mrs Achu remained calm and composed. She observed everything quietly, carrying herself with a sense of responsibility and awareness that set her apart from the rest. She understood the weight of what was about to happen, even if others did not accept it. Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for. Chief Paul made a grand entrance. The room subtly shifted as attention turned toward him. Conversations softened, movements slowed, and all eyes followed him as he walked in with authority and presence. He greeted everyone warmly, his voice steady, his demeanourr confident. There was no doubt he was still in control. He addressed the gathering, making it clear why they were all there. He assured them that he would still be around, as the necessary documents were being finalized for the transition of power. His words were calm, but their meaning carried weight. As the party continued, Chief stood at one corner of the hall, sipping his drink and glancing across the room. His eyes moved from one face to another—his family, his partners, his associates. He watched their reactions, their emotions, their hidden intentions. Then he nodded quietly to himself. In that moment, he was certain. He had made the right choice. #NaijaTwitter #NaijaStories #Nigeria

The Tinubu Administration is spending millions lobbying Congress while failing to adequately address the genocide Nigerian Christians face daily. @HouseAppropsGOP just passed our annual State Department funding bill which takes serious steps to address this crisis. 🧵

Peter Obi built nothing in Anambra when he was Governor. No schools built by him, no factories, no companies, no malls, no major projects, nothing. He didn’t even build his own people, never invested in anybody. No Anambra man can tell you he’s successful today because of Peter Obi. You can’t build your state, you can’t build your people, so what are you going to do as President?

Do you know that Peter Obi has spent more on education this year than the Education ministry has?
Peter Obi@PeterObi

Nigeria Must Prioritise Education or Risk Falling Further Behind. Yesterday, at Coal City University Enugu I delivered a lecture on 'Repositioning Nigeria’s education sector for national growth and global competitiveness' I also seized the opportunity to commend the Vice-Chancellor and the entire management of the University for their commitment to academic excellence and for providing a platform for meaningful national discourse. No nation rises above the quality of its education system. Nigeria’s current low Human Development Index (HDI) score of 0.548 and persistent high unemployment are clear symptoms of chronic underinvestment in education and human capital development. The data is equally revealing. Nigeria allocates less than 10% of its budget to education, far below the 15–20% global benchmark. Youth unemployment and underemployment exceed 30%, while life expectancy remains among the lowest 50–55 years. Literacy levels hover below average 59% and 65%, all of which point to deep structural weaknesses in our development trajectory. In contrast, comparable countries such as Indonesia and Egypt, and South Africa have high HDI levels with HDI scores of 0.72–0.75. They all have higher life expectancy of above 65 years, higher literacy levels and higher per capita incomes of $3,500 above, while Nigeria is about $1000. This stronger progress was through sustained and deliberate investment in education, healthcare, and broader human capital development. The difference is not in talent, but in priority and policy consistency. We must move beyond rhetoric and confront these realities with urgency. I therefore called for a total review of Nigeria’s education funding model, stronger public-private partnerships, and more inclusive policies that recognise the role of both public and private institutions in educating Nigerian students. It is difficult to justify excluding private universities from intervention frameworks like TETFund when they are actively contributing to national capacity building. Education is not charity; it is the foundation of national growth and the gateway to global competitiveness. With sustained investment in education and a deliberate focus on human capital development, a new Nigeria is not only POssible - it is inevitable. -PO

@ChelseaFC Chelsea fans living in London are enabling these clueless directors. We should be boycotting matches. Stop attending matches, boycott them. These owners are destroying our club. We must do something.

✅Gittens - Hamstring ✅Estevao - Hamstring ✅Palmer - Hamstring ✅Reece James - Hamstring ✅João Pedro - Thigh Injury ✅Jorgensen - Hamstring Every single training video I’ve seen under Rosenior involves intense running and less tactics, he’s done worse than anything Pochettino ever did to these players.

My name is Abdul Wahab. I am pleading with my Football Twitter (FT) family and everyone on this app to please RT. I am on the verge of losing a life-changing opportunity simply because of where I come from, and I have worked too hard to bottle it now. I grew up in extreme poverty in a small village called Kwabenantene in the Ahafo Region. I am the very first person in my family and my entire village to ever get a university education. My path was never easy. To survive undergrad, I literally had to drop out of classes mid-semester, pack my bags, and go back home to do heavy construction work just to raise enough money to survive the next term. I was laying bricks to pay for my textbooks. Despite having zero financial safety net, I poured my blood and sweat into my studies and graduated with First-Class Honours in Economics, ranking in the top 1% of my entire cohort of 435 students. But I didn’t just want to succeed alone; I went back to my village, gathered the youth, and started teaching and mentoring them. Because of that work, two students from my locality have now successfully made it into university too. I want to lift my people up. All this hard work finally paid off: I just received admission into the highly prestigious, integrated Masters/Ph.D. Economics program at Goethe University Frankfurt (GSEFM) in Germany! My tuition is officially 100% waived. However, I am facing a massive roadblock. Because the program is so competitive, I wasn't put directly into the fully-funded Ph.D. cohort right away. Instead, I was admitted to the MSQ track for Year 1. I will take the exact same rigorous classes alongside the Ph.D. students, and if I pass my Year 1 qualifying exams, I transition directly into the fully-funded Ph.D. I know I will pass those exams. The academics don't scare me. The finances do. My only problem right now is getting funding to cover my Year 1 living expenses in Frankfurt. If I can just survive these first 12 months, the Ph.D. funding takes over and my future is secured. To my FT family: you guys know my grind and my loyalty. If I get this lifeline, I promise I will proudly represent FT in every academic hall, conference, and research room I ever step into. I just need a chance to be in the room. I cannot let a lack of living expenses kill a dream I built with my bare hands. If you know of any scholarships, foundations, philanthropists, or anyone who can sponsor a village boy for just one year, PLEASE tag them or reach out. Please RT this until it reaches the right timeline. Let’s make this happen! 🌍📚🙏🏾

@Blue_Footy Guardiola will struggle with these amateur and annoying sets of directors. How can you buy and leave a Garnacho and Delap for a full season in a club like Chelsea. What are you expecting, what is your motive. Does it mean scouts no longer function in today's football?
