Reference is made to the video circulating on social media in which members of the Bolt Cutter Bus Crew are seen violently assaulting passengers at Musami Cross, Domborembudzi. The footage depicts two members of the group repeatedly and brutally kicking one of the passengers on the head while he was lying helplessly on the ground. Following the attack, the victim appears disoriented, unstable and seemingly unconscious, raising concern over the possibility of serious injuries. The Zimbabwe Republic Police has taken note of the incident and investigations are currently underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding the matter and identify all persons involved. The public is assured that appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the law. The Zimbabwe Republic Police strongly condemns all forms of violence, disorderly conduct and acts that endanger human life and public safety. Anyone found responsible for the assault will be dealt with without fear or favour. Members of the public with information that may assist investigations are encouraged to report at any nearest police station or contact the National Complaints Desk. I understand your frustration. Many Zimbabweans feel the same anger, disappointment, and sense of helplessness when they see institutions that should protect citizens being used to protect those in power. But history teaches us that governments do not derive their strength from the police, the army, or even the law. Their ultimate strength comes from the consent, participation, and cooperation of the people- THE CITIZENS. When citizens lose hope, withdraw from civic engagement, and accept that nothing can change, those in power become even stronger. You are right that elections alone are not enough. Social media alone is not enough. Complaining alone is not enough. But neither is despair a strategy. The challenge before us is to build a stronger, more organized, and more united citizens' movement—one that goes beyond personalities, beyond political parties, and beyond moments of outrage. Sustainable change requires patience, sacrifice, organization, and courage. Many supporters have lost hope because they expected change to come quickly. That disappointment is understandable. But surrendering hope guarantees the very outcome we fear. The fight for democracy, constitutionalism, and accountable leadership is not won in a single election cycle or a single protest. It is won when citizens remain committed, organized, and determined despite setbacks. Zimbabwe belongs to its citizens. The responsibility before us is not to give up, but to find lawful, peaceful, and effective ways to make our collective voice impossible to ignore. And The Citizens shall govern! Ndatenda.

IT WAS ALL ABOUT ED POWER GAMES…ED worked with Tshabangu to engineer illegal recalls that ultimately handed ZANU-PF a fraudulent two-thirds parliamentary majority, in clear violation of both the law and democratic principles. Unfortunately, when the recalls began, many failed to recognize that this was part of a long-planned strategy orchestrated by ED. It was never about the claims that the CCC lacked a constitution or formal structures. In Zimbabwe you can not submit party candidates to ZEC without a party constitution. Parliament and Mudenda were in possession of CCC constitution but chose to ignore it on instructions from his Zpf Boss. Those no constitution and nil structures narratives were merely a smokescreen. Some individuals, driven by their disagreements with Nelson Chamisa, celebrated the recalls, unaware that they were in fact celebrating the erosion of democracy and the weakening of our nation. The foundation for the current constitutional amendment agenda was laid in 2023 through those engineered and unlawful recalls. However, all is not lost. The real struggle lies ahead. The task before us is to continue fighting for a Citizens' Government—one that reflects the true will and aspirations of the people of Zimbabwe. The future of our country depends on the determination of its citizens to defend voice, agency and fundamental rights .

It’s a small world, guys! My wife just got the shock of her life. She was browsing through Facebook and came across news about the arrest of former SAPS Special Task Force member Matipandile Sotheni (allegedly linked to the killing of Witness D/Marius vd Merwe). Turns out they went to St James High School in Cofimvaba, Eastern Cape, together between 2001 and 2003. Anyone else here who went to St James High during those years and remembers him? Drop your thoughts below. 👇 Ze Nxumalo | #BBMzansiS6 | #MadlangaCommission

A suspect has appeared in a Zimbabwean court following the fatal shooting of a truck driver. His body was discovered near Bubi, outside Beitbridge. The accused, a South African national, was charged with murder following the death of truck driver Dave Mukanganwi. Mukanganwi was found with a gunshot wound to the head in the early hours of 19 February. The accused also faces a separate charge of contravening immigration laws after allegedly entering Zimbabwe without proper travel documents.

If you ever find out your kids aren't yours, I think you should keep such information away from those kids and continue your fatherly duty. These kids grew up knowing you as their father, now imagine how traumatizing it would be for the kids when you boldly face them to tell
