@VerizonSupport The easiest thing in the world is to say "wow you use Verizon for both mobile and home, you can have a hotspot until it's fixed!"
English

@VerizonSupport I can handle my service being down. I can't handle you suggesting I pay more for a hotspot so I can have internet while I wait for you to fix it
English

Fios out for better part of the day @Verizon knows it's broken. I ask them maybe they could give phone hotspot while it's broken and they say sure, just $10 more per month! What embarrassingly horrible service.

@preskill It's always the worst when you first learn about it from the press.

@Noahpinion Guessing the number the OP is referring to is global GDP? (Which would make sense as an annual income.)

Well, it's ~$500 trillion, but the point stands. And most of that wealth couldn't be spent even if we wanted to.
There's really just very little wealth in the world.

my friend is bummed because he thought there was "abundance for everybody" but then he sat down and "did the math", there's 95 trillion dollars in the world, 8 billion people, that's only $11,875 USD for each person. i couldn't stop thinking about this the rest of the day
