These TSA lines just make our government look chaotic. One time, fine. Two times, pissed. Three times, unbelievable… We need to separate TSA from short term funding bills, it is critical to our GDP and has massive downstream effects

Not what travelers and cheap flight lovers want to see: The cost of jet fuel has exploded since the war in Iran began, per this @AirlinesDotOrg chart. United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby just said fare increases will “probably start quick.” Book those flights soon, folks...

Still looking for a real example of complex, mission-critical enterprise software built with AI? Here you go. In 6 weeks, a working Freight Management System for air & ocean forwarders built on @OpenMercato . – Built in weeks, not years – ~7% of traditional cost – AI agents at the core – Zero license fees – Zero vendor lock-in This is what AI-assisted enterprise building looks like.

@ChrisPavese The market vastly overestimates the maturity of AI agents in the enterprise and vastly underestimates the necessity of system of records or 'legacy' software within an organization. Like, how did we jump from 'most AI POCs failed' to 'you don't need $NOW because of AI Agents

@zain_hoda There's a case to be made that in the future an AI agent could be a system of record. But as it stands now, the AI agent is an interaction layer between the user and the troves of complexity of enterprise systems. The value is that the user doesn't have to interact with software

.@benedictevans: "....you think, “We’ll have a small wedding, we’ll have 10 people”, and then you start making a list and it’s like, “Well, I’ve got a brother and my brother’s married and she’s got two sisters and then there’s an aunt and the aunt has children”, and you realize you can have 5 people or 150 people and it’s kind of nothing in between — it’s kind of the same with enterprise software."

Why do closing costs vary with the price of the home? It's not like an $800,000 home has vastly more paperwork to file than a $200,000 home. Closing costs are a scam for companies to pocket more of your money.

Damn - that didn't last long! Marriott is terminating their relationship with Sonder. I imagine that this is probably the end for Sonder, will be hard to survive. They had "WeWork-like" exposure to high fixed lease costs and variable demand, tough business.

Sonder is being added to Marriott Bonvoy next year. Sonder ($SOND) has struggled as a public company (mkt cap $64M, up 125% today). It will remain independent. They announced an $146 million in additional financing (various forms). Excited to have more Marriott options!

Up to 40% of Obamacare enrollees never file a claim. That’s billions in taxpayer dollars flowing to insurance companies for people who don’t even use the system. Republicans are committed to ending the fraud and making healthcare truly affordable.

SSO, RBAC, Audit Logs, self-hosted Founders, wait until the market *begs* you for this shit Big deals will say they’re ready, but until they show up with an LOI and a boatload of money, delay Product first Then, ship all these in 6 months when there’s millions blocked. gg

An under discussed topic: You can just straight up PLG your way into Enterprise We’ve hit 23% of the F500 with no outbound sales. Just a great product 18 months ago, we would add 1000 invited team members per month Now we do that every day

@compound248 @chamath For anyone who has tried to sell AI to companies or the enterprise, chamath is 100% correct. C-Suite wants AI outcomes but the people you sell it to don’t always and they often have little incentive to engage or make the implementation work.

Who’s going to tell him? @chamath claims his AI software dev company, 8090, has been evaluated by “all the big, major” PE firms and their portcos. Precisely ZERO have hired 8090. He says this is because those are “B and C companies” run by “C and D players.” He literally says, “it’s not us, it’s them.” Bold strategy, Cotton.
