@Hesamation It was just YAML + CSV formatting. And I think it wasn't self explanatory (you need to document the format in system instructions). There are better ways to do this.

Claude Code has a regex that detects "wtf", "ffs", "piece of shit", "fuck you", "this sucks" etc. It doesn't change behavior...it just silently logs is_negative: true to analytics. Anthropic is tracking how often you rage at your AI Do with this information what you will

- Drafted a blog post - Used an LLM to meticulously improve the argument over 4 hours. - Wow, feeling great, it’s so convincing! - Fun idea let’s ask it to argue the opposite. - LLM demolishes the entire argument and convinces me that the opposite is in fact true. - lol The LLMs may elicit an opinion when asked but are extremely competent in arguing almost any direction. This is actually super useful as a tool for forming your own opinions, just make sure to ask different directions and be careful with the sycophancy.

Current-gen LLM "memory" systems make every chatbot feel like a distant relative you met once when you were 7, and you see him again 30 years later and he just assumes you want to talk about dinosaurs some more.
Andrej Karpathy@karpathy

One common issue with personalization in all LLMs is how distracting memory seems to be for the models. A single question from 2 months ago about some topic can keep coming up as some kind of a deep interest of mine with undue mentions in perpetuity. Some kind of trying too hard.

OpenAI is backing Isara, a new startup founded by two 23-year-old AI researchers that coordinates thousands of AI agents to solve complex problems, like using ~2,000 agents to forecast gold prices. The company just raised $94M at a $650M valuation and plans to sell predictive modeling tools to finance firms first.

At my local liberal elite coffee shop a millennial woman is in tears because she can’t afford private school tuition. She’s on speakerphone so everyone hears. She qualifies for food stamps. She is an immigrant and a lesbian. Everyone is waiting for her to get off the phone to console her. OK. BUT… she just spent $3,000 on airline tickets for a vacation and booked $400 meal one of the nights. And summer camp for her kids while she goes. Every millennial I know is absolutely addicted to travel to foreign nations. WTF. They talk about it like it’s a human right. Why the F can’t she put her kids into her Subaru and drive them to Florida like a normal person? Or the thousands of great coastal vacation spots between Bar Harbor Maine and Key West. Why is nobody suggesting this to her? And it’s not just her. My millennial friends who have money are constantly jumping on planes overseas. Like if they go more than two months without travel they start freaking out. I’m generation x. I don’t get it. Someone please explain this to me in crayons. I mean I love traveling too but holy crap does it get expensive fast. Are these people all just in crazy debt?

Hayek's fundamental argument about information economics implies that central planning is impossible because the information required for economic activity is only manifested in the practice of economic activity by the agents. Blocking private enterprise means blocking the process by which this information is manifested. It's not a problem of the central planner lacking computational power, or even a problem of providing incentives in order to extract the information (i.e., it's not a problem of mechanism design). His argument is that this information fundamentally does not exist in a form that can be articulated and communicated through, lets say, writing. Lets consider an example: can the average person write down their utility function in a piece of paper and give the paper to the government in such a way that the central planning computer can replicate that person's consumption patterns over a period of lets say, a year?
Daron Acemoglu@DAcemogluMIT

Coming back to Hayek’s argument, there was another aspect of it that has always bothered me. What if computational power of central planners improved tremendously? Would Hayek then be happy with central planning?

🚨NEWS: Cursor’s $50B “in-house model” is literally Kimi K2.5 with RL on top. Got caught in 24 hours >be Moonshot AI >spend hundreds of millions training Kimi K2.5 >1 trillion parameters, 15 trillion tokens, agent swarm architecture >beat GPT-5.2 and Opus 4.5 on real benchmarks >open-source it because you believe in the ecosystem >one condition: display “Kimi K2.5” if you make over $20M/month from it >Cursor takes the model >runs RL on coding tasks >ships it March 19 as “Composer 2” >blog post: “continued pretraining + scaled reinforcement learning” >zero mention of Kimi K2.5 >“our in-house models generate more code than almost any other LLMs in the world” >publishes benchmark chart >Composer 2 against Opus 4.6 and GPT-5.4 >uses the chart to justify raising at $50 billion! >less than 24 hours later >kimi dev intercepts the API response >model ID: kimi-k2p5-rl-0317-s515-fast >they didn’t even rename it >Moonshot head of pretraining runs tokenizer test >confirms: identical to Kimi’s tokenizer >publicly tags Cursor’s co-founder: “why aren’t you respecting our license?” >two more Moonshot employees post confirmations >all three posts deleted within hours >legal is now involved >but it gets worse >Cursor had Kimi K2.5 listed as a FREE model in their UI just weeks ago >users were openly using it >Feb 9: “K2.5 was in my model list. I updated and it vanished” >it vanished because Cursor pulled it from the picker, and relaunched it as their own model >Moonshot valuation: $4.3B >Cursor valuation: $50B Absolute state of Cursor.

The right wing hippy is a much more logical archetype than the left wing hippy. Nature itself is inherently right wing (i.e. hierarchical). All left wing politics are utopian (i.e. opposed to nature); leftism is defined by the violent imposition of man-made constructions like “equality” onto a wild, unequal, raw reality; the flattening of the Cosmos. The only natural analogue to left-wing values is heat death, the theoretical end of the universe, where all structures (i.e. differences, inequalities, borders) are dissolved into a state of maximal equality (i.e. nothingness), and which all living things resist by the very act of being alive. If you love living things and desire a natural way of being, you have to be right wing

It looks like the Debian Linux project will soon have a new Leader focused on having fewer "(cis)male" contributors to Debian Linux. Nominations are closed for the new Debian Project Leader... and the election period is underway. Voters have exactly 1 (one) candidate to choose from when they vote. That's right. The Debian Project is giving their members only one option. That person, Sruthi Chandran, describes herself as a "librarian turned Free Software enthusiast and Debian Developer from India". She is focused on what she calls the "skewed gender ratios within the Free Software community", saying, "how many times did we have a non-(cis)male candidate for [Debian Project Leader]?" Sruthi says that diversity should "come up for discussion in each and every aspect of the project," adding the goal is to have "more women (both cis and trans), trans men, and genderqueer people." Voting officially begins on April 4th. lists.debian.org/debian-devel-a…
