🚨 Hey @StagHuntApp launches TODAY. The internet rewards attention. Stag Hunt rewards action! Create a hunt. Fund the reward. Someone completes it. They get paid. If nobody completes the hunt, everyone gets refunded. I’ll be talking about Stag Hunt today on Blockchain Banter. Stop by and check it out. 🎯 staghunt.app

That’s a longer-horizon effort and is exactly what hashdag is “hunting” for. But everything above Kaspa will ultimately be built over covenants, including the soon coming based-apps mvp and future vprogs and any staghunt implemented on any of them, so now is the time to celebrate that new raw native expressiveness and harness it. Also, don’t underestimate native atomic composability using covenants. Though I don’t think we’ll reach completely novel usecases at the first stage, the inherent superiorities of Kaspa as infrastructure, can make classic usecases shine again and show ppl how they look like on a true and fair crypto platform. Another point is agentic software, I think covenants as compressed atomically-deployed onchain contracts are much better suited for this economy. Everything you see on eg kas-smiths.org is ppl discussing specs bcs they ack this potential

I’m finishing my argent compiler sprint (proof attached) and then I’ll do my best to communicate. Thing is, I think you are not my target audience despite indeed being a very informed investor. Talk is cheap, I want you to be INFORMED through the first serious app launching natively on Kaspa L1 and making you ask yourself “wait, how the hell is this even possible on KAS L1??”

it’s a gradual spiral-like process. first, the compilers were not released yet (post audit). so I assume that some builders are waiting for that before going to mainnet. second, the ongoing compiler work combined with the kcc spec efforts are both revealing the play field and defining it as the same time. third, first complex examples will be built and published by pioneer teams/ppl, patterns will form, software will aggregate, and the entry barrier will get lower and lower. it all takes time, but from where i stand the enormous potential can be clearly seen, and i also see many passionate enthusiastics looking around, so the combo of possibilities + will makes me very optimistic

@FoxH04 @KASperiencexyz @moshikrl @BSCNews @coderofstuff_ imo ppl waiting now eagerly for the future roadmap have no idea what toccata enabled (not implying you are) don’t get me wrong, the day DK comes to Kaspa mainnet will be thrilling and enormous, but what can be built *now* over kas is dramatic. very dramatic.

Toccata was the opening act. DAGKnight is the main event Kaspa's next consensus upgrade replaces GHOSTDAG with a model that adapts to real network latency, targeting block times of 25 to 40 milliseconds. Core developers are aiming for a hard fork by the end of Q3. Founder @hashdag has proposed bundling it with a ZK bridge in one fork, with a 100 blocks-per-second target to follow in 2027. $KAS

Kaspa KII and @pvson have inspired me to launch a new not for profit initiative totally funded by thoughts and ideas. Introducing oceanodes! These nodes will allow Kaspa to operate even under water! They will have high neutron electromagnetic lithium ion batteries which will recharge via satellites! Impervious to space debris or tornados!

Everyday I open this app and see another meme coin, casino, meme coin launch pad, or some random game being built on $KAS. Maybe we do deserve zero if that’s all we can come up with sigh 🫩

I am so focused on @KaChat_ success because it is the best "right now" way that a user can start using $KAS in their daily life. The best use cases for me right now is digital money and communication. After that what else is there? Lots of uncompleted unready stuff. To me nothing else is more important than attacking this market.

@Sebas_2045 @CryptoEndeavr @Wabaco_ @bysiyakat @KaspaKii Indeed, the structure has been chosen to separate the non profit function of enabling industry applications from commercial activities. The interest in the industry is still modest, but that will of course change

@Sebas_2045 @CryptoEndeavr @Wabaco_ @bysiyakat @KaspaKii While Kaspa is still gaining recognition in the broader industry, awareness of its superiority and unique value is only beginning to grow. As innovative applications launch, widespread awareness and adoption will quickly follow.

@bysiyakat A nice post! You are right that kaspa:native is far beyond just a coin or crypto. We regard it a trusted permissionless information carrier, in fact ensuring secure infrastructure on top of Internet. @KaspaKii is, indeed, paving the way for application developers!

don't run (coding etc) agents on your personal machine especially don't run them on your personal machine in yolo mode (and this is coming from someone who exclusively uses yolo mode lol) instead setup a VM on an old computer, on it's own VLAN and use that as your dev box - limit the blast radius in the unlikely event that something goes wrong or just rent a cheap VPS (although some of the cheap ones are fast disappearing..) then just SSH into the box - either directly from the terminal or from codex and you're good to go personally have been using this for the last year+ in my setup with a macbook air (such an OP little machine if you main this setup) pro's: - much much lower resource usage - this means lower battery usage - don't mix personal with vibe projects (so you don't get popped if 5.6 decides to delete your shiz) - can leave long running projects going easily con's: - you are tied to an internet connection (but if you're using agents then this is an issue anyway) - more effort to setup (although is a once off) - requires paying for additional hardware/ vps if you're just getting started and don't understand any of what i've just said - ask grok to explain or DM me - happy to help
Tibo@thsottiaux

On file deletions. We’ve investigated a handful of reports where GPT-5.6 unexpectedly deleted files. What we have found is that this most commonly occurs when: - Full access mode is enabled and codex is run without sandboxing protections, including without auto review being enabled - The model attempts to override the $HOME env var to define a temporary directory. - The model makes an honest mistake and mistakenly deletes $HOME instead. This is of course not how we want the system to behave, even when a user operates the model in full-access mode without the safeguards of our sandbox or without using auto review which checks for these kinds of high risk actions and rejects them. We are taking steps to mitigate this risk including by updating the developer message, guiding more users towards safer permission modes, and adding additional harness safeguards. Even though this happens extremely rarely, we’ll share a detailed post-mortem in the coming days that goes into more details and what we are doing to minimize risks further.
