We’re carrying out essential renewal work at Meadow Lane level crossing, Long Eaton. This means the crossing will be closed to road vehicles during four engineering shifts. Some Sunday morning train journeys will also be affected. More details... gloo.to/FUgn

We’re sorry to anyone whose journey has been affected and urge passengers to check before they travel. We’re working closely with train operators and plan to have the repairs completed ahead of this evening’s peak travel period.

Our engineers are working inside Elstree Tunnel after an overhead power line issue was reported at 6.38am today (Wednesday). A temporary closure of the affected line has been taken to allow the repairs to take place safely, without trains running.
