Playstation had to copy all these features or look outdated. The Xbox 360 is the reason I still choose Xbox instead of Playstation.

@AphonicWanderer I think the Halo 3 (2007) ODSTs with the backpacks would look the best.

Hot take time: I always preferred H3’s version of the drop troopers to H3: ODST. I like the simpler geometry of the forearm and shoulder armor and full gloves. There’s a lot of love put into ODST’s version with the extra gear and more complex armor details, and I do very much appreciate it. However, H3 just nails their aesthetic with less IMO. They’re my 2nd favorite design behind H2C :) Props to @AbiSV1 for the fantastic model recreations for a comparison! 🙏
