You only need to get to escape velocity of 25K mph and then coast the rest the way that happens shortly after the burn to leave Earth’s orbit (it’s a already going 17,500 mph to maintain orbit). The Moon’s gravity then gives the capsule an assist. This is basic physics. The craft and crew are not in the Van Allen belts long enough to be an issue. Again, we’ve done this 8 times, not including unmanned craft to the Moon with instruments that measure this stuff.

BULLSHIT What NASA is telling you: As soon as Wednesday, a four-person crew could launch on a mission to fly around the moon in an Orion capsule that's currently perched at the top of a 322-foot, orange-and-white rocket waiting at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. My questions of concern: How does a four person 322 foot rocket carry enough rocket fuel to travel 477,710 miles to the moon and back without refueling at least 15 times? How will all four astronauts survive passing through the Van Allen Radiation Belt without being completely annihilated? If you can just answer these very simple questions please? I’ll be waiting…
