🚨💣 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐄: Liam Rosenior had no involvement in Enzo Fernández being benched for two games following his public comments. The decision came from higher-ups at Chelsea, who were reportedly unhappy after Enzo appeared to flirt with interest from other clubs, something that clashed with their previous belief that he was fully committed to the project. Despite this, Rosenior continues to see Enzo as a key part of the team’s future and remains unfazed by the situation.

Yellow card

🚨💙 Rosenior: "My record in the Premier League since I joined the club, we are fourth in the league”. “There is a noise around the football club that we are in a crisis, that I am out of my depth, that I talk nonsense, I know all of the noise”.

The latest club accounts landed. 19 Premier League clubs reported. Only six turned a profit. It gets worse. Two of those clubs only turned a profit by selling one of their assets to another company in the larger ownership group. In short, a paper profit. Newcastle sold their stadium and Aston Villa sold their women’s team. Everton also sold their women’s team and still made a loss. These are community assets being traded to cover out of control spending. It is only further evidence that English football knows the price of everything and the value of nothing. ✍️ @CWeatherspoon_ 🔗 nytimes.com/athletic/71669…

There is a noise around the football club that we are in a crisis, that I am out of my depth, that I talk nonsense, I know all of the noise. It doesn't affect what is inside of here and that is what the players need to know as well." [@BobbyVincentFL]

🚨 Liam Rosenior on creating a culture: "I want a culture here where we can be open, transparent and challenge each other. To create that, we have to have difficult conversations." (@BobbyVincentFL) #CFC

Liam Rosenior has suprised me but in a good way. Bold leadership. A message to Enzo Fernandez. No player is bigger than the club. It’s always a collective effort, win and lose together.
