@SmPotatoes Alright.... so you realize on the Bronze Star thing, Moore had been recommended to receive a Bronze Star. His "lie" was claiming he had one, before it was awarded to him. I'm not saying it's OK he was inaccurate there, but on the scale of fibs, that's a 3 out of 10 pinnochios.

Moore doesn’t care about affordability, only about making videos and taking pics of himself. Sad.

@SmPotatoes I usually presume people are empathetic, b/c that's normally true. If there's some evidence to the contrary (e.g. your pyschologist niece calling you out as a psychopath) I might believe otherwise.

@SmPotatoes Narcissists can still be empathetic. Physcopaths aren't. Let's keep in mind that DT's own niece, who coincidentally is a trained psychologist, called him a psychopath. Haven't heard that charge leveled at Moore.

@SmPotatoes I mean.... You could say Moore's "social media friendly" appearance gives him populist appeal. Similar to how Trump has populist appeal. But I think the comparison ends there. And we probably shouldn't convict people on the basis of popular appeal alone.... Good populists exist.

@MarylandDOT - There are some gargantuan pot holes on the west bound portion of the bridge on 495 that goes over Cedar Ln. Something is wrong with the surfacing on that bridge. Pot holes open every winter. Please fix. @MCDOTNow

@JohnAnzo Taking a brief look at the stats paints a slightly more complex picture. This article itself points out that roughly 1 in ever 4 dollars of *all money* used to buy food pays for sugary drinks. Only a mere 2% of extra food stamp money goes to soda versus non-food stamp money.

The No. 1 item food stamps buy soda. Now states can say no. As a former food-stamp kid, myself, this seems like a reasonable policy change. Nearly $1 in every $4 of food stamps pays for sugary drinks, candy or snacks — about $25 billion every year.
