Looks like Cetus/Sui issue was an integer math overflow issue. - Rust has always supported overflow checks on run-time/compiler level #overflow-checks" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">rust-exercises.com/100-exercises/… - Solidity added overflow checks in 0.8 (should have been 0.1 but we had to fight tens of millions of lost dollars w/gas golf wankers screaming against this) This is a danger of homebrew ecosystems and rolling out your own languages and compilers. It is a black eye for Move, which was advertised as a safe smart contract programming language and obviously did not caught a basic issue like this.
