@ttcdoors No way would I run. Every day, I would be butting heads with the Brad Bradford's, Josh Matlow's and God forbid if Diana Chan-McNally got elected. We need a major house cleaning at City Council, but I'm not up to it with these politicians. It's not worth the headache. 😅

I hope there are better Toronto Mayoralty candidates than Olivia Chow, Brad Bradford, Josh Matlow. I'm glad Gord Perks is not running in the upcoming City of Toronto election. I think Toronto taxpayers need an outsider of the current City Hall council to be Mayor of Toronto. • We need a Mayor who will fund the TTC better so TTC cannot say they are underfunded as much. • We need a Mayor to do a better job to fix the homeless and drug addict problem. • We need a Mayor to cut expensive waste that the taxpayers can do without.

@TDotResident It originated in a real estate scheme to make areas at the outer end of the line more valuable. It was packaged for Tory as something he could sell to show his transit bona fides. The plan was unworkable but Tory wouldn't let go.

8:07am - Strange but I heard it. The reason given why the guy cut track power was because he wanted to complain about the unsanitary condition of an elevator. There's not much the cleaners can do if disorderly people are going to pee and 💩 in the elevator at any time. Perhaps, the TTC could locate portable toilets outside or inside certain stations to reduce this disgusting practice from happening so often.

@RM_Transit I would suggest transit city represents the standard view on transit construction from the majority of pols in Canada. There’s currently an active push to build two more ROW LRTs despite everything that just happened with the launch of 5 and 6

9:24am - This has to be a first time occurrence. Both Line 5 Eglinton and Line 6 Finch West has LRT service problem on the entire routes. The LRT service is basically down and replaced by shuttle buses. Line 5 has a signal problem and Line 6 has loss of power problem.

There will be no GO Transit service stopping at Downsview Park on 3 of the 5 days the Bruno Mars concerts will be at Downsview Park Rogers Stadium.
GO trains and GO buses will not be servicing Downsview Park on the weekend concerts during
May 23, 24 and 30, 2026. This is due to construction on the Barrie Line tracks.
There will be GO train and GO bus service at Downsview Park on the weekday concerts during May 27 and 28, 2026.

What should be a 2 minute walk to Campbell Park for people living on the east side of the tracks currently takes 20. And that’s just one example — the Antler-Lappin connection will provide better access to schools, services, and community facilities for everyone in the area.

Simply because you have coppers paroling trains don’t mean they can rid the system of crime. Are the streets of Toronto crime free?

@TPAca @TPACampbell @am640 @gregbradyx TPS response times for emergency calls are still way up there, 10-15 minutes when someone is kicking in your door. They should focus on securing their current responsibilities before chewing up more real estate of responsibilities
