@AldiUK Can you slow the cashiers down when scanning goods. I feel like Mr Tickle at the checkout trying to catch all my goods 🤣

@jemmaths I’ve often wondered whether the radical notation confuses things and whether the use of fractional exponents would be better. It would make inverse operations clearer. ‘Roots of roots’ are then clearer as well. But then again surds would be messier. 🤔

@tombennett71 He didn’t even buy a ticket, so the actual story is ‘boy not allowed into event he hadn’t purchased a ticket for.’

Just watching ‘Hotel Inspector’ how does Alex Polizzi do it? Who would have thought decorating hotels could make them more appealing to stay in? 🤔 #hotelinspector

@Strickomaster The problem is now whatever they do it’s not fair. By awarding full marks on this question they’ll be flattening off their own standardisation curve. As you say, minimal QA sure pick this up

@brassoteach Highlight hundreds of APP grids when a student had shown they could do something once. The whole time knowing this did NOT mean they would remember it in a week

I am currently working with @teacherhead on transforming his Five Ways To blog series into one-pagers. Here is the first, which outlines five methods to weave reading into the curriculum. teacherhead.com/2022/05/05/fiv…

@sparklesannie79 thank you for the presentation today on School culture! It’s something which is too often overlooked in education or not given the emphasis it deserves, but absolutely fundamental in achieving our core purpose. #rEDLeicester

@jemmaths Excellent session today, brilliant to see real life examples of curriculum sequencing in maths which directly tackle the problem of getting students to visualise abstract concepts👏 #rEDLeicester

There absolutely must be a level playing field when it comes to examinations otherwise how do universities and employers draw fair comparisons?

@markbishop314 @WoodMeena @oldandrewuk @NickHaddon6 I've read the book. It's very idealistic and has some worthy aims but I struggled to see the possibility of application. I reviewed it for school's week & I don't think it made me any friends. It has many fans though
