This tweet is taking away his elite scrambling skillset. Skoronski is obviously a stud, but the only other actually good OL is currently a FA in Zeitler. They had a good rb last year. Drafting a premium player that is immediately paid as such and with a short average shelf life is not the answer.

Cam Ward had the 6th longest time to throw with a 8.9% sack rate. Adding OL won’t change that. Adding a RB for him to hand the ball off to so it’s out of his hands faster would help with that, though.

A training match between 🇺🇸 GM Hikaru Nakamura and 🇺🇸 GM Awonder Liang starts today and will run from March 13–16, 2026.
The match format:
• 2 Classical games
• 4 Rapid games
• 4 Blitz games
This will be an interesting test for Nakamura, who hasn’t played a classical game against an elite opponent for roughly nine months.
His last classical elite event was Norway Chess, after which he mostly focused on open tournaments and faster formats while pursuing Candidates qualification.
